Peter Allis is still a breath of fresh air compared with the bog standard Sky commentator. Yes, he may come out with the occasional faux pas, but his insight and background comments make him, IMO, far more interesting. What's wrong with the occasional jokey comment? It's only the sort of things spectators ate saying to each other, after all. Suspect he may now retire and, as with Murray Walker, I'll be sad to see him go. Agreed. I've seen Clasie on TV and wasn't that impressed - more another Davis IMO. Reed may develop into the role, but wishing at the monent that we still had Cork. Agree too about CB.
