The problem is that Saints fans have always preferred a player that runs around at 100mph for 90 minutes whether they actually achieve anything or not. MLT was an exception because he delivered goals virtually from Day One. It would be interesting to see what sort of reception he would get if he was starting out with us now. After all Guly has scored goals (10 by the end of Dec) plus a high number of assists, but he is a lazy bastard apparently.

I totally agree with this post. I think that remarks like "I don`t ever want to see the useless **** in a Saints shirt again" (elsewhere in this thread) are plain ridiculous. I no that it`s opinions and all that, but come on!

Going by your "logic" he actually cost us 2 points yeasterday. The man has scored 8 goals this season and had a high number of assists. He did have a bad game yesterday - no doubt - but there are too many people who just don`t like him. It`s as simple as that. If he had scored 20 goals so far but still appeared "A lazy gimp" I have no doubt that your overall opinion would be the same.

I am a great admirer of Guly, and I admit that he had a bad game today but I think to dismiss him as useless and a waste of space, as many have been doing all this season is as I said before, stupid and illogical. Other players have off spells and don`t the vitriolic reation that he does.

I am more than happy with Gulys overall performance this season. Second highest scorer and second in assists. What I am not happy with is the witch-hunt by certain posters on here who will only see the negatives and never the positives with him. He didn`t have a good game today admittedly, but to blame him completely for only drawing today is illogical and short-sighted.
