Aren`t there some old plans for an illuminated giant bedpan going spare somewhere?? Perhaps we could have those and adapt them. Seems a shame to waste them and the money that was spent getting them drawn up!

This is a real non-story. Pretty well all clubs have been doing this for donkeys ears. NC wants our academy to be the best in the country and will probably need more accomodation for incoming scholars. It is just a re-launch to make potential hosts aware and get more of the local community involved. All very positive I think.

Perhaps that is the difference between the two clubs. It WAS a great day, We played a Prem team, had ANOTHER full house, and played them off the park for 75 mins. As I said before, not many Saints fans expected to win. It was a one-off cup game and we are going great guns in our league. It really DIDN`T hurt. I know that that`s not what P*mpey fans want to hear but it`s true. That probably hurts you more than the defeat hurt us.

The fact was that deep down, not many of us really expected to win. Hoped, yes but we were in a "no lose" situation. We were a third division team playing an admittedly poor PL team. The fact that we outplayed you for 75 minutes made me proud. The fact that we lost actually means nothing to me and I'm sure that a lot of Saints fans feel the same.

I was sat in the traffic coming away from the ground this afternoon when someone tapped on my window. I looked around and it was Ian Branfoot! He was with Lew Chatterley and wanted to know where the road that we were on led to. I felt like I had had an acid-type flashback to the early 90`s! I just wish that I had been able to discuss his time as The Dell with him and how much I enjoyed it!:smt009:mad:
