  2. Yes, because when Cameron and his Bullingdon Club clique get in they will be miles better won`t they?? Virtually all politicians are self-serving shysters whose only interest is in clinging to, or craving, power and the trappings that go with it. You and I and our quality of life come way down their list of priorities.
  3. Quite interesting on 5Live this morning. Anti Labour people all believed that Brown was a bully and Pro Labour said that he was just a strong leader and didn`t believe the story. The actual truth in this story actually comes second to electoral spin so in that respect it is a non-story.
  4. :shock::shock::shock:
  5. Watch out for the dodgy bastards that ring you up promising to find buyers for your car if you pay them £80 or so. They get your info from Auto Trader etc. Don`t touch them.
  6. I was prepared to listen to this with an open mind but sadly, most of the fans came across as simpletons - "It`s all the PL`s fault!", "We don`t owe as much as West Ham or Man U", "We`re a more attractive proposition than West Ham"" etc, etc. At least a couple of panelists told it like it is. Loved the Mike Channon rumour!
  7. It was Ena Sharples aided and abetted by Minnie Caldwell and Martha Longhurst. "The Triumvirate of Evil"
  8. Sorry, I`ve already done this without asking permission! Sorry! What`s the proper phrase? Ah yes.... "My Bad":)
  9. Didn`t Story-Teller introduce Al Mirage?? He was supposedly taliking to him and his brother (Pete Mirage) at the time that Gayboy sold to Sultan bin Trump.
  10. As you say, the two situations are completely different. Plus the fact that if the PL were to forward Skates the money, they would be setting a dangerous precedent. Ho really is a knob isn`t he?
  11. Boo-Hoo!! What a knob!
  12. city (for emerald!)
  13. It`s not General Custer and the 7th Cavalry coming to the rescue is it??
  14. Yes, but it did shut them up each time though.
  15. I sit in the Kingsland on the halfway line and I was amazed at how many chants actually started in the Chapel end !
  16. Don`t know too much about either of my grandfathers but my dad served in the RN during WWII as an ASDIC (u-boat hunter) operator on HMS Forester on the Artic convoys and on D-Day.
  17. I thought that he was superb today. I am so proud of the team. For 75 mins you couldn`t tell which was the Prem team. Yes we lost, but the score was very flattering and the "Bestest Fans in the World ™" were very disappointing today - at least until they were 2 or 3 up. I would STILL "Rather be a Scummer Than a Skate"
  18. Two good articles in the Mail today:- http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1250668/DES-KELLY-Portsmouth-cheats-let-wall.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1250700/Saints-winners-Why-old-rivals-Southampton-Portsmouth-bitter-enemies.html
