  1. I don`t see how anyone thought that £42M pound a year for players wages on gates of less than 20,000 was ever realistic and sustainable
  2. Didn`t I see a Nigerian winning a race in the Skicross?
  3. Yes because the Tories are whiter than white there, aren`t they?
  4. Only if they thought that he was heading up a consortium to take them over!
  5. Maybe not, but it proves that all parties have their fair share of "retards" doesn`t it? It`s not just Nu-Labour. This is the sad thing about politics in this country. It`s all "Yah-Boo". "We are right and nice - you are wrong and nasty" No use of common sense and common agreement on matters. It`s all "If that`s what they think, we will think the opposite". I refer you to my earlier post - No 25
  6. "Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery." - Wilkins Micawber
  7. Did you not hear Winterton "yorping about" on Radio 5Live?? Came across as an arrogant nincompoop before being "disowned" by Cameron.
  8. From Charles Sale in todays Mail:- The bizarre goings-on at Fratton Park include Portsmouth, at one stage, promising they would not sign anybody if the Premier League lifted their transfer embargo, but would use any such announcement only to help their prospects of offloading players. 13. Yes, because when Cameron and his Bullingdon Club clique get in they will be miles better won`t they?? Virtually all politicians are self-serving shysters whose only interest is in clinging to, or craving, power and the trappings that go with it. You and I and our quality of life come way down their list of priorities.
  14. Quite interesting on 5Live this morning. Anti Labour people all believed that Brown was a bully and Pro Labour said that he was just a strong leader and didn`t believe the story. The actual truth in this story actually comes second to electoral spin so in that respect it is a non-story.
  15. :shock::shock::shock:
  16. Watch out for the dodgy bastards that ring you up promising to find buyers for your car if you pay them £80 or so. They get your info from Auto Trader etc. Don`t touch them.
  17. I was prepared to listen to this with an open mind but sadly, most of the fans came across as simpletons - "It`s all the PL`s fault!", "We don`t owe as much as West Ham or Man U", "We`re a more attractive proposition than West Ham"" etc, etc. At least a couple of panelists told it like it is. Loved the Mike Channon rumour!
  18. It was Ena Sharples aided and abetted by Minnie Caldwell and Martha Longhurst. "The Triumvirate of Evil"
  19. Sorry, I`ve already done this without asking permission! Sorry! What`s the proper phrase? Ah yes.... "My Bad":)
  20. Didn`t Story-Teller introduce Al Mirage?? He was supposedly taliking to him and his brother (Pete Mirage) at the time that Gayboy sold to Sultan bin Trump.
  21. As you say, the two situations are completely different. Plus the fact that if the PL were to forward Skates the money, they would be setting a dangerous precedent. Ho really is a knob isn`t he?
