  1. So is it the least that all the other major players in this saga can do? How much are Lowe and Wilde putting in, or is their part not as MAJOR as Crouchs?
  2. But we shouldn`t get the wooden stake and hammer either!
  3. Didn`t what? Put some money into the club?
  4. Oh, so it was irony! Sorry that it came across as petty mindedness. Perhaps you could find a smiley/winkey/scowling thing to make us aware in future.
  5. Have you actually been reading this forum (apart from your own diatribes) recently? People have been "questioning" Crouch almost as much as they have Lowe. It`s getting very boring. We have bigger things to worry about than your vendetta against Crouch (and McMenemy)
  6. Yeah the bastard! Oh Dear, Oh Dear!
  7. TBF I agree with you totally, but it is difficult not respond when something contenious, naive or plainly aggravating is posted.
  8. A very expensive curry. Damned if he does and damned if he doesn`t.
  9. Oh No They Don`t. I think you get the idea there (in a Harry Hill voice).
  10. But women don`t know when to give up an argument!
  11. Sadly (or maybe not) there doesn`t seem to be any. I listened to Solent sports bulletins this morning and we weren`t even mentioned.
  12. Because it is too easy to turn everything into an anti-Lowe rant. I didn`t just want to say "It`s all Lowes fault" because it really isn`t that simple, which is the point I was responding to. IMHO Lowe bears the majority of the blame for what has happened to our club, but he is not alone. Wilde is not far behind and Crouch and all of the rest must take their share too.
  13. Are you thinking of anyone in particular?
  14. Our problems started at the time of the reverse take - over, (and no this is not an anti-Lowe rant) and from that point until around 2003 we muddled through with a combination of luck, having MLT and certain amount of good stewardship. Sadly the continual "revolving door" of managers, lack of sensible investment in the team led to relegation. Despite some people saying that relegation was inevitable, it wasn`t. No club has a divine right to be in the Premiership but we could quite easily have still been there how many points were we away from safety?). Since relegation it has been one catalogue of disasterous boardroom decisions. All of the participents in the soap opera that has taken place at SMS must take their proportion of blame. Wilde for changing sides, Lowe for his continual "experiments" (SCW, the Dutch Revolution et al) and belief that he was some sort of football guru, Crouch etc for the gamble they took to get promotion before the parachute payment ran out and Hone, Hoos and all of the others for their "Mitchell Brothers" contribution. To suggest that the reason for all of our problems is because of the "mis-management" during the months that Crouch was in the Chair is simplistic. It didn`t help but it was just part of the horrific jig-saw that Saints have become. It is a bit like saying that WW2 happened because Hitler was a naughty boy. We all know that situations like this are far from simple
  15. I don`t think it is as simple as that.
  16. For goodness sake start ringing any bells that you can! Where do you find some Morris Men this time of the morning?
  17. Crouchs "donations" are being reported in The Echo, so whilst you can argue about the general accuracy of the press, it is a bit more than just a rumour. It has stated that Crouch has "declined to comment on the story or the specific amounts of money involved" and I suspect that even this will split people. The anti - Crouch bunch will say that as he hasn`t commented, the story must be false, but if he admits it the same people will say he is doing it for self - publicity. He can`t win can he.
  18. A lot of stuff that has already been put out. Lynham interviewed. Originally had a bigger consortium but now down to 2 businessmen. Still talking to Fry. Has already put unofficial bid in. Loads of interest but no-one "showing the money". Reporter suggested that Thursday is the key day.
  19. Solent talking about it now.
  20. Source? (Someone had to do it!)
  21. It`s all we`ve got at the moment!
  22. Strange. No Sports News on Solent at 5.20pm just a slot on the 5.30 news which mentioned Hants and England cricket and Skates game Sunderland.
  23. Really curious about this deadline. Is this an "artificial" deadline set by Fry to chase up Pinnacle? How much longer does he actually have to sell the club? Thursday? Surely "end of play today" isn`t set in stone?
