Whilst I am disappointed to see JWP go....I was hoping that he would stay around and be another MLT....we have been saying since last season that certain players will be leaving....and they are. We shouldn't be surprised. RM has already said that we have targets lined up to come in and that our team at the end of the transfer window will look a lot different to the current team. We are obviously going to have good spending power. We have to be patient I guess......

May need a bigger squad than you think if the yellow/red card quota stays at its current level.....

Just out of interest, how do we know that JWP wants to go? It may just be a business decision. I have not seen anywhere that he is unsettled or looking for a move....only from posters on here.

They did say just Cemex this year. I have had a parking ST since our days at The Dell...we used to park in Springhill School. At no point have the club contacted me re:- renewal of our ticket. I only found out about the lack of parking because I contacted them.

Where are you parking? They are only running one car park this year.....

Further to this, I have again emailed the school and apparently they have been thinking of running parking themselves but they tend not to reply to emails/phone calls. Can anyone recommend somewhere to park reasonably close to the Stadium? Whilst I am not disabled, due to an illness I have difficulty in walking for more that around 10 minutes at a time. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am a great fan of his but It worries that he has done nothing really at West Ham or Villa. Is he past it? Is he more injury prone? I would rather that we were able to unearth another Rickie Lambert......that really is wishful thinking I expect!🙂

Being an old git who went to school in the 50's/60's, when spelling, and grammar etc. were deemed as very important, the thing that niggles me most is the inability/unwillingness to follow the rules of our own language. This includes the inability spell and to differentiate between uses of words. "Of/have", "there/their/they're" and "are/our" are some prime examples of this. Couple this with non-sensible Americanisms such as "Can I get...?" and American pronounciation of words such as "leverage" being pronounced as "levverage" instead of "leeverage," and my annoyance is increased. I keep being told that spelling, grammar and puntuation don't matter nowadays....it's all just about being understood. Maybe that is the way it is naturally going, but it is very sad if that is the case. End of miserable old git rant! 🙂
