The problem is that apart from anything else, for the first time in 65 years, I have little or no affinity with anyone in our squad. I wouldn't be disappointed if the whole bloody lot left.....

For them to go, somebody needs to want to buy us, and who in their right mind has pockets deep enough to buy us AND spend what will be needed to make this disaster of a squad competitive. I think that we are stuck with SR in at least the medium term. We just have to hope that Dragan has seen the light and balls big enough and pockets (still) deep enough to sort this shit-show out.

No I don't particularly. Other clubs seem to uncover diamonds when we uncover duds. Despite people saying that we have a number of good Championship quality players, I think we need a complete clearout from top to bottom.....Manager and squad. There are very few, in any, player in the current squad that I any affinity with. I hate to use the "Scar Tissue" comment that a certain recent manager was fond of using, but I think that is justified in this case. We are stuck with SR, so I just hope that Dragan is ruthless enough and that he and Spors see what needs doing and they do it even if it takes a couple of seasons in the Championship. We HAVE to get it right this time!

I know what you mean. I know that I have said this before, but I have been watching Saints for 65 years, had a ST for 50 years. Our first child was due to be born the day before we played in the Cup Final in 1976....needless to say, I went to Wembley, working on the theory that we could always have another child, but I may never see Saints in a Cup Final again! That child took her love of Saints from me and we got her a ST next to mine when she was about 15 and we have gone to games together ever since. I/we have seen it all with Saints....the highs and the many lows....but it didn't matter....it was a way of life.....Saints through and through! Sadly, the goings-on of this season have really knocked the stuffing out of us and we just can't be asked.....for the first time in all those years. Looking forward to next season when hopefully some joy may return and we may actually win a few games.

Very unfair. Regardless of who he actually supports, as a professional reporter he has to balance his questioning if he wants to keep access to the club. The club have the power to stop any relationship.....like it or not. I know that some on here want him to say "Oi you bunch of c*nts, wot d' f*ck is goin' on?" but that's not how it works.....

Er.....yes it is. If you haven't got the right players for the formation, then the formation that you are playing is the wrong one. You should play to your strengths and choose a system that the players that you have are capable of executing successfully.....
