Yes.....a number of the "mass" of signings (quantity over quality) that we made over the Summer seem to fit into this category and never really given a chance in the team. And those that were, were mis-used, and/or played out of position. I do get the feeling that RM didn't have a massive amount of input into the transfer dealing before the season started or he just didn't know what he was doing......

Charlie Taylor is a bit of a mystery. He is a pretty experienced Prem player having played over 160 games in the division......more than a lot of others in the squad. Wasn't expecting him to be a spectacular signing.....more of a roadsweeper than a violinist.....but he was never given a chance to establish himself.

I don't think that Les was any worse (or better for that matter) than anybody else on Saturday. In fact not one player (with the possible exception of TD who at least ran at Brentford when he had the ball) came out with an ounce of credit from that debacle.......
