Yes.....a number of the "mass" of signings (quantity over quality) that we made over the Summer seem to fit into this category and never really given a chance in the team. And those that were, were mis-used, and/or played out of position. I do get the feeling that RM didn't have a massive amount of input into the transfer dealing before the season started or he just didn't know what he was doing......

Charlie Taylor is a bit of a mystery. He is a pretty experienced Prem player having played over 160 games in the division......more than a lot of others in the squad. Wasn't expecting him to be a spectacular signing.....more of a roadsweeper than a violinist.....but he was never given a chance to establish himself.

Yes, but don't forget that we were promoted despite RM, not because of him. With the squad that he had at his disposal, we should have walked the division, not limp in by way of the Play-offs.........apparently. And don't forget that Nigel Adkins was useless because he didn't actually win the divisions during both of his promotions. That's how these things work, you know.

I am not up to speed on the PP. I thought I heard a little while ago that they were thinking about stopping or adjusting them because it was deemed unfair on Championship teams......although I might have dreamt that.....
