Was at the match took two of my boys two (I think we three made the record) must say I was a lot more confident watching the match live than I ever am on the web. We have one hell of a squad now all 14 today played fantastically and we are missing so many too. Hammers played Allerdyce /Bolton style just pump the ball to Carew(read Davis at Bolton) our defence was great our midfield and passing game was awesome (especially first half when the poor old hammers just couldn't get the ball. The last 10 min or so were "squeaky bum time" when we dropped deep and invited pressure. Guly playeed will and should have finished when played in after a brilliant passing move. De Ridder's disallowed goal was class and should have stood if only the ref had been a bit slower with the whistle. Great to see the stadium full but missed having Alpine's "we are doomed act " ala Fraser of Dads army!

Absoloutely right particulalry so when only a few games played. It now appears after a few more games that the two sides we tonked early days namely Leeds and Ipswich are two of the form sides in the division and right back there amongst it

I said in the match thread post 26 at 2.09 GMT we would get back into the game and at post 98 at 2.48 GMT we would still be top at the of the day Alpine said it had been good while it lasted being top as soon as we went down and that we could not get a result against top rivals I rest my case

I would define a good draw whilst missing our most influential player at a key rivals full stadium a RESULT And your definition of a result is?

As you thought we wern't going to get anything out of this as we can't perform against top sides (your opinion) In what circumstances is that 2 points dropped then?

Great result could have won needed JC in midfield we lookedf strong with Chaplow and JC in the middle not as strong without them. Hooieveld looked good and strong (first time i have seen him) too.

We are not holding the midfield at present We need JC back to orchestrate the middle

We are giving away too many corners and hitting too many long balls now
