Agree with much of this. Ankersen drawing extra lines in the sand has probably cost us the chance of getting in a measured replacement and having an outside chance of staying up. Assuming the Jonesball stay of execution ends on Saturday afternoon, it's likely to be a case of an experienced 'name' on a short term deal, or somebody comfortable with factoring in relegation and attempting return (perhaps someone who has done this before - a rarity).
