Shoot on sight from distance all the time is another constant. Obvious since the Jones / Selles season that managers are briefing their players that having a pop is always worth a go against Saints. A fair bit of player power also a constant in our demise. Think of the zero reaction and lack of respect towards Juric, the anonymous 'senior player' appearing in the press a month into this season, and Armstrong admitting a lack of effort under Still after he was sacked. Keeping the senior pros 'sweet' seems to be a priority for this Board and the coaches they employ. Heaven forbid introducing a manager or a few senior pros keen to win at all costs and happy to kick some backsides and upset some egos in doing so.

Saints v Coventry, 12.30pm Saturday 20.12.2025
Miltonaggro replied to Tommy Mulgrew's topic in The Saints
Could be a bit of a reality check this one. Thought that even before today’s capitulation. Fair play to Lampard, overseeing a well organised athletic side who like to attack, and they’ll bring a noisy full away section. 0-3 seems about right. -
Bar Billiards or Shinty?
-
Usually the Bazunettes appear, pom poms flailing, after we’ve narrowly won with only a couple of clear fuck ups. Doubt they’ll show up after the Coventry game.
-
He’s simply too small mate. Club are gaslighting the fans on this. Bizarre.

Lots of us have been talking about the need to specifically build / rebuild a strong and reliable spine of the team for about five or six years. No fucking around in terms of keeper, centre back, central midfield or striker - build around these positions. Not about speculating, but buying quality and nous in the 25-29 age bracket and let the youngsters develop alongside these players. Harwood-Bellis would likely look a very different player alongside a Fonte or a Svennson for instance. It’s not rocket science, but our board seem determined to kill our club and their investment playing hipster Russian Roulette. Frustrating, tedious and preventable!

Be interesting to see Bazunu’s career trajectory when Sport Republic finally cease their negligent work experience placement and let him go. I reckon it would take the likes of Eastleigh or Waterlooville a one week trial to suss him out, maybe less.

The only way Gav will ever be a £30 million keeper is via the Euro-millions. Better fucking odds too!

Yep, and watch these cunts give the former a contract extension within the month. Learning appears so difficult for these owners.
-
Likely to have a complete syllabus by May.
-
Not a sniff the whole of this 7 minutes. Bottlers!
-
Looks that way. Touch of the last half hour v Millwall here.
-
Don't, or he'll call the supporters cunts again!
-
Canaries plucked and fucked by Tonda's gold wing, though Gavin Budgezunu will flap and let one in. 1-3 (Armstrong, Azaz, Fraser)
-
Don’t recall that sentiment in the city personally, most appeared to be surprised we were in a position to challenge at the business end. Do you remember which players in that side were the cause of debate with Saints fans that season as to not being good enough? I do, even all these years on.

Had the dubious pleasure of watching his positional intelligence and attributes from the Northam this season. When he came on against WBA he was so far behind the play with zero composure it was genuinely pitiful. Doesn’t look like a footballer at this level to me. It might be that we have to get a loan in January to offer more threat and cover for Armstrong.
-
Fuck knows, but DNA wise I think he’s likely about 90% more goalkeeper than Bazza.
-
Few links emerging linking us with a January loan move for Daniel Peretz the Bayern reserve keeper (currently loaned to Hamburg, but not getting games). Previously a bit of a star for MTA. Big strong keeper, touch of the Boruc about him. Good move all round if it happens.
-
They'd be cock a hoop if Quavers wrists signed for Sunderland! Otherwise, he'd get about 120 seconds.
-
Goalkeeper, even if that means us effectively having one over for a few months whilst we push to go up.
