If you are happy to bury your head in the sand, I guess it doesn't matter why. But many people think it's important to understand why these awful events happen. It seems that there are lessons still to be learned - witness the apparently racist murder of the student in Manchester over Christmas.
One of them is currently serving a sentence (or has been convicted) of a racist offence in 2002 - although the jury wasn't aware of this when it was deliberating.

I absolutely loved Molesworth in my early teens and often got told off (especially in Latin classes for some reason) because I was sharing Molesworth bon mots with my class mates.
The boy just doesn't understand that socialists just want EVERYONE to be able to buy nice things, to be healthy and to be well educated. He finds it incomprehensible that some people in the world really do care about EVERYONE having a chance in life. His lot just want to suppress a whole group of people.
