  1. He is, isn't he The lawyer Robert Jay has had him dangling on more than one occasion.
  2. Can't someone ask the District Auditor to investigate? If it's treasury funded, the council should have to demonstrate value for money to the Treasury to gain access to funds.
  3. I think I'm right - the opposition members of the committee responsible for this decision can call the decision in. It would have to be re-examined and the business case justified (or not).
  4. ^^^^ Smack Artic drivers using their mobile phones whilst negotiating roundabouts.
  5. Crapola
  6. (Bloody edit function )
  7. It's not just a silver spoon in his mouth though. It's often his foot. I think he's very funny and quite endearing. He's also very, very clever and looks down on Dave in the intellectual stakes.
  8. All of these plus people who drive with fogs on when it's not foggy. I, too, have never had an accident or caused one - go me
  9. Just watching Aussie comic Steve Hughes. Not seen him before - very funny man.
  10. This has always been my take on it.

I'm glad you replied using his post. It reminded me that I needed to change the cat's litter tray.
  15. And when you first bought the property, your solicitor should have given you a copy of the Deeds or at least a plan showing the boundaries.

We had a few flakes around lunchtime but that was it - too warm I think.
  19. Lone gunman is the latest info http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-16161746
  20. BBC Liege correspondent saying only one man involved and police suggesting he might have been trying to help a friend escape from the courtroom. 64 injured.
  21. As an aside: http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20111212-703129.html Saab share dealing suspended.
  22. There was a run on Swedbank in Latvia at the weekend apparently - all tied up with the state (Latvia) taking over Krajbanka http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20111212-703129.html
  23. Tried this, but got 'page no longer exists'
  24. A rule of thumb is can you see the posts? In my garden, the posts and cross beam (don't know how else to describe it) are on my side for the RH and bottom fences and I've got a cotswold stone wall to the left. So it looks like we're responsible for all of it
  25. Funny that - since usually Dave has no answer to the questions put to him by Ed. He usually blusters and talks about stuff from 2 or 3 years ago without actually answering the points put. Oh and BTW, this government isn't 'blue'. It's a rather mucky shade of orangey greeny brown.
