  2. Well, I'm in bits watching the poor boy in tears
  3. I bet she's dead worried, knowing that How can you 'hate' someone when you don't know them. I mean, I don't even hate you!
  4. Although being ranked no. 4 in the world in 2002 would suggest otherwise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Henman
  5. I think Murray's fitness level is higher than Federer's.
  6. Why is he a thicko?
  7. I see Camoron and Boris J are there. Murray doing very well but I have the sound muted because I, too, can't stand the 'funny' shouts from the crowd.
  8. I did a lot of work in MK, although I commuted (from Oxfordshire so not a biggie). Some parts of it are dire but other parts look quite pleasant. Great shopping centre if you like copycat, same shops everywhere stuff. Not much character to the place at all, being a new town 'n all. Roundabouts
  9. Good wishes for a speedy recovery WG xx
  10. Sorry J! I've been away on hols (as well you know ) so haven't been following threads that closely. But hey, great minds and all that eh? x
  11. Although Murray is 8 - 7 ahead on head to heads between the two. However, never in a slam ...........
  12. First British male Wimbledon singles finalist since 1938! Virginia Wade won in the Queen's silver jubilee year - wouldn't it be spooky if Andy won in the diamond jubilee year.
  13. Federer v Tsonga past matches = 8 - 3 to Federer
  14. They might not get as much as they'd hoped for 'the Fratton Three' http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18733738
  15. Isn't that what they call an oxymoron?
  16. Seems like some people are voting with their feet (or at least with their bank accounts) http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/jul/04/banking-move-your-money Power to the people!
  17. It's a shame Tsonga isn't playing his best because he's a joy to watch when he is. But Andy is just awesome ATM
  18. Probably tempting fate, but it looks like he'll meet Federer in the final if he gets there. Probably the easier of the two options, although 'easier' is understating the task that will face him.
  19. He's got a good record against Tsonga though
  20. Now he's 2 sets to 1 up!
  21. All square now
  22. He had a good innings, as they say.
  23. That's the one! Cheers, T
  24. South African
  25. What's the name of that very old pub in Borough - to the right just before you cross the bridge - opposite a church? Had galleries and an open courtyard. I bet it's not there any more. I used to go there a lot when I worked at the then South Bank University.
