Personally I'm hoping Lallana packs it in at the end of the season. He's clearly still got a bit on the ball, but off the ball he's starting to look like a tribute act. I'd rather we ripped up 80% of the squad. No-one will want to stay that anyone's overly fussed with keeping and I'd rather stay down for a couple of years than go through a repeat of this season.

Who's buying THB on what we've seen so far? We'd have to take a pretty hefty haircut on the £20m we paid, that's for sure. He's been average at best.

He said a lot of times that we would only sign players who 'wanted to join'. Every player who has come in has mentioned speaking to RM. It's not unreasonable to think he has the sign-off on every transfer we make. Wood was an example of a signing who will have come 100% from him, and he's a League One player.

Are we really in a position to accept being down by Christmas?
