  1. Dunno why Royal Mail are so p1ssed off with it. It's not like the posties will be collecting from it more than once or twice a week...
  2. Priority should be given to those of us who went to the ZDS final.
  3. It has yet TBC. I'm hoping for at least a 2.00 pm kick-off at the earliest - preferably 3.00 pm.
  4. For all those interested - a couple of trailers for the new Band of Brothers 'Pacific' series: Also: here's an interesting video of Tom Hanks & Steven Spielberg giving interviews about why they wanted to make the Pacific (not great quality but very watchable): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CW4ZnEC36iE Incidentally - the series premieres on March 14 in the US. Should follow very soon afterwards here in the UK.
  5. ...with the same result too.

  7. lolol. Best laugh of the day so far!
  8. Quote from Pardew (Guardian): "Where we are now we're going to need a huge slice of luck as well as playing very, very well," the manager, Alan Pardew, says of the club's promotion prospects. "But we can do it. What they [the board] really want is within three years to be challenging for the Premier League and I think that's fair. "There's no reason why I can't produce a team next year that can go straight into the Championship and cause a real lot of damage and maybe even go through the Championship. I did it at Reading, when in our first year we made the play-off, so it's not impossible"...
  9. Like it or not - we are in the THIRD tier of English football - and we have Alan Pardew as our boss. I'm thanking my lucky stars for that! He took over a club that was down on its knees & is/was being asked to perform an (almost) impossible task of dragging the club from the very depths of despair to a position of good standing amongst the footballing world. And lets not forget the much-mentioned 10-point handicap that welcomed him to the club! He is being asked - in a very short space of time - to get the club back to where it rightfully belongs. He has been given terrific backing from the owner/boardroom...and is doing a bloody decent job in my eyes. New players take time to gel. He's switching things around to find his best team and allowing for the hectic schedule - I don't blame him. We've lost our spark lately granted - but show me a club that doesn't have a blip during the season. What we don't need in the summer (let alone now) is yet ANOTHER bloody manager! Pards will get it right - if not this season then next. Whatever anyone else thinks - we're lucky to have him. Very lucky. And he's getting us there. If we all have a fantastic day out at Wembley later this month...and we all celebrate a win over our arch rivals next saturday - suddenly Pards will be the best gaffer since sliced bread with many of the moaners & doubters! But please - not talk of yet ANOTHER manager pleeeeease...
  10. I wonder if Pardew needs to re-think his "we need to win ____ of our remaining games" forecast at all? I reckon the play-offs are beyond us now - and as people have mentioned above - they were (in all honesty) a very big ask this season - thanks to the 10-point deduction. We should therefore just enjoy tuesday night's semi-final game big time & all hope to have a great day out at Wembley later in the month. Then - next saturday - let's enjoy a game against that rabble down the road & hope to knock the bastids out the cup! There are still some high points to look forward to the rest of this season. Promotion isn't going to be one of them alas - but hey! - that's life & sh1t happens.
  11. FT 1-1. Not anywhere near good enough.
  12. Have we had 3 players sent off that I missed???
  13. Exeter making all the pressing in the 4 added mins ffs...
  14. We nearly lost it there ffs. Corner to Exeter.
  15. lol. Some things never change eh...
  16. Nearly the 86th min...and time for Rickie to win the points for SFC!
  17. We led on 37 mins. They levelled 4 mins into second half.
  18. Easy lads. Rickie Lambert to the rescue on 86 mins!
  19. Leeds had a few very dodgy results recently which was in no doubt due to their game/s against Spurs on their minds...and perhaps the games against MK Dons (who'd wanna be injured for an important semi-final game?) and Pompey (again - who'd want to get injured today for that one?) are on the player's minds today? We don't really sound a "unit" whatsoever.
  20. C'mon Lambo. He doesn't appear to be getting much service...which is nothing new of course. I was hoping that would be Punchy's job but it isn't quite happening today yet. Lambo only needs half-a-chance mind. Come on son!
  21. ...yet!
  22. Once again - Rickie Lambert to our rescue it'll have to be then! C'mon Lambo - do it!
