Yellow card for Antonio.

Jeez. If we're gonna get anything from this game we've gotta apply more quality

Corner No.2 to Saints. COYR!

Someone's woken us up from our sleep!

Swindon 2 Yeovil 1

We do sound a touch lethargic.
-
Bollix.
-
Not a single corner yet for either side.
-
Dear oh dear Antonio. If only the lad could keep a cool head...
-
Hammond will be in for plenty of stick today from the home fans. What better way to silence them than with a brace?
-
Saints putting pressure on the Colchester goal. Keep it up lads.

He's at the game.

COYR. The top game in L1 today without a doubt. Here's hoping our 1st ever visit to the Community Stadium is a successful one.

Would signings in January strengthen the team or upset the balance?

If we're deadly serious about making the play-offs THIS season - instead of next - then I'd like us to sign Simeone Jackson from Gillingham at whatever cost - a quality RB - and a pacey left-sided winger. -
Thanks for the update Commando_Saint

We'll concede early. Then equalise midway through the first half. 1-1 HT. We'll take the lead 15 mins into the 2nd half - only for Colchester to level on the hour mark. Several near misses will entail for both sides - before we sneak the points in the 81st minute - thanks to goal machine Rickie Lambert. 3-2 away win. Happy New Year to all thanks very much!

New Year (almost). Same old sheite OS - unfortunately.

A set of thermals/long-johns wasn't on your Xmas list then Tractor?
-
We will out-score them! 2-3 away win. COYS!

Yeah. Merry Christmas big Ron - the second best player ever to play for us - after Matt Le Tiss....and Micky Channon as well...er...and Steve Williams too come to think of it...oh, and not forgetting Steve Moran of course! *Just kidding Ron. All the very best mate. Hope you have a good'un & here's to a happier 2010.

And boy does this motor. You gotta be stark raving nuts!!!

If we're honest - we have absolutely no chance whatsoever of winning the FA Cup. We can certainly go to Wembley & a fantastic day out in the JPT however - and although it (obviously) doesn't have the kudos or razz-matazz of the FA Cup - we could have a fab day out & the real possibility of some silverware in the cabinet! For that reason - I'd like to see us play our strongest side in the JPT games & put the FA Cup further down the list.

I feel a bit strange really after that game. Although we lost - I don't feel too down. We gave a good account of ourselves at a very difficult place to go - and against the side that will win this division no question. I'm more proud of the fact that we kept going 'til the end - and of how far we've come in just a few short months. No disgrace in that narrow defeat. We'll do them in the JPT final & back at our place. I'd be happy with that!
