I think the amount of money printed/used to combat Covid and to supply Ukraine in fighting a un-winnable war will have been significant (at best the same) no matter who was in power. for all of the Truss madness, labour wanted a longer, harder, wilder lockdown, which would have cost a tremendous fortune. we are where we are, with the major parties in the toilet.
