I get your point, but think you are being too balck/white with this. There is a budget that has to be adhered to, that Ralph has to make the most with. It may be if we got a new keeper, we cant afford a good enough striker etc. Add to that, we cant shift either of the two shit keepers we have, people dont want them. I certainly dont put the fact we cant get rid of keepers at Ralphs door.

And we also aren’t going to only have Long, Adams, Tella, and Obafemi as our front line next season either. I always thought he would go, no way could our finances take him not being sold, and I’m quite excited to see who we bring in. I still think we may move on 2 or 3 more, and replace. Think Vesty goes, and fringe players like Vallery and maybe Obafemi. Can see 2 Strikers coming in, and a LB, CM who can play CB, so maybe Delaney.

I thought he was better this summer, but tonight capped off what I think of him. When he went through late on, he cut inside, instead of going outside and shooting or playing it to Ely, and basically went inside where their defenders were. As soon as he cut inside I never thought he would score. Should have laid it off for Ely.
