Not only that, but didn't the judge in their last court case order them to publish the findings poste haste? What has happened to that publication?

I did the maths a few pages back and it turned out to be something like 79% of income being spunked on player wages alone - forget about paying all the other staff and bills etc. Considering the salary cap is 55% of income they are up to their old tricks again, not that we would expect them to question it! The only 'investigative' journalist that they had in the past, who got all his information from here, has conveniently been given one of the jobs for the boys to stop him from 'investigating' / logging in to TSW. Once the parachute payments have finally run out - I guess they count until the end of this season - then continuing to spend money the way they are will see them ruined, again.

There are some seriously deluded people on that website! "what happens if an unexpected bill comes in?" What kind of bill aren't they expecting? They get billed for the things they purchase and the players they sign up during the season! If there are any unexpected bills they have probably come from HMRC and probably [to every other business in the country], aren't really unexpected. I do like the idea of stealing the parachute payments that have been 'ringfenced' [yeah right!] to pay the ex hero-villians so that they can afford to take on some short term hero-villians. Not sure they've really figured out how they will repay the stolen money so my guess is admin 5 in 6-12 months time The only thing I did like on that thread was where they described themselves as a small business

iTunes and kids in app purchases. HELP!
Weston Super Saint replied to tony13579's topic in The Lounge
It's true, the app can still be downloaded without the password - it's quite a good feature that makes the App store a little easier to use. However, once downloaded the app would still require a password to authorise any in-game purchases, so as long as the 5 year old doesn't know the password then all will be good. -
Isn't Gordon Strachan the Scotland manager? Guess they can cross him off the list!

Some back of fag packet maths from nobhead neil's article... Budgeted turnover = £5,270,000 Parachute payments = £9,725,652 Therefore total income = £14,995,652 Player wages = 27% Therefore player costs = £14,995,652 x 27% = £4,048,826 So, without the Parachute payments increasing the total income figure, the player percentage would be £4,048,826 / £5,270,000 = 77% with a League 2 salary cap of 55%. If they don't get promoted this season with that amount of cash being spunked on players then they really will be screwed for the next decade

Bull****! I can say that because there is actually no way you can prove it Every single [well nearly!] facking scummah has been b-anned from POL, along with a boat load of your own fans, so even IF you could find the thread where you all called him out for what he really is, there is no way you could show it to anyone. Nice paradox eh? So on that basis, I call bull****

6 times 60,000 = 300,000? Has anyone mentioned the figures just don't add up? Do they all live in cloud cuckoo land or do they just make **** up as they go along?

But the article goes on to mention sponsorship from business who were thought to be cancelling but didn't and gave them money at Championship levels, suggesting that the increase in revenue is down to sponsorship - which has a tiny cost of sales! You can reasonably expect the Alcohol and soft drinks to have a GP in the region of 70-75%. Food will be at least 50%, probably closer to 60%. I can't see the overheads and staff costs [mainly minimum wage] accounting for a huge amount so I would expect the GP for food and drink [certainly on the terraces] to be around 45-50%.

Nope. They're just 20% of 20% of their original length. 'Tis the pompey way mush.

Absolutely nothing to be concerned about. It's all covered in the budget.

It's terrible. My iPad is now an android device. Not only that but most of the apps I have installed haven't been updated, so don't work properly which is annoying. Also the notifications don't update between devices like they used to. E.G I have googlemail app on iPad and on my Samsung phone. Previously when I deleted unwanted mails from my phone - let's face it it is MUCH easier / quicker to delete from the phone with a brief swipe - the notification would also disappear from the iPad app. Since the update this is no longer happening and I'm left with 'new mail' notifications until I open the app and it refreshes itself. I used to like the way the apple devices / OS 'just worked' with no fuss and no hassle. Right now, it's more a case of just 'not' working. I do like some of the new features, but until they fix the little glitches it gets a 4/10 from me.

Never had a problem with Amazon. Always been delivered ahead of schedule and well packaged. On the one occasion that I had some shysters from Hong Kong trying to flog hookey goods, Amazon got involved straight away, refunded me in full and removed them from their supplier list - can't complain at that and you would never receive such service from flea bay! On the rare occasion that I need something to be delivered next day, I pay the couple of quid extra safe in the knowledge that it would cost me more to drive to the nearest place that sells what I want, pay ridiculous amounts of money to park the car and on most occasions be charged more than it would cost on Amazon because there is a 'captive' market! For me, Amazon is a Gods send! I don't have to go into town and be annoyed by the chavs and their brats and I can get everything I need delivered to my office guaranteeing that it will always be delivered!

With their new found hatred of the Premier league and its 'riches' that are ruining football for everyone, does this mean they will be refusing to accept the parachute payments from the Premier League? Thought not. Hypocrites.

It will be horrendous. The calls will be repetitive, the targets that they told you about at the interview will be stretched beyond belief, seriously diminishing your potential to earn much over minimum wage. Your colleagues will be stupid and unengaging - why else are they in a call centre FFS! Your boss will be a jumped up little ***** who will have six months service under his/her belt and will think they are the master of all sales people, ever. The fat bird sitting opposite you will fancy you and will turn into a crazed stalker. Staff parties will be the most dull affairs you have ever attended. Your customers will rant and rave at you as if you have personally wronged them in some way. Have I mentioned that it will be horrendous? The only advice I can offer, apart from slitting your wrists and ending it all before you start, is that you have TWO ears and ONE mouth. As with all sales people, once you learn how to use them in the same proportion, you may well achieve something

Where, exactly, were people 'moaning' about David Cameron not tweeting / facebooking? Were they moaning on twitter / facebook - my guess is they were, which would make their moaning about the subject about as irrelevant as if DC had done it in the first place. I can just about see the reason why Facebook still exists, but it defies me why Twitter is even used. So much pointless drivel gets posted and limiting the number of characters leads to the most mind bending abbreviations it's impossible to tell what most of the retards write anyway.
-
Seriously deluded Every other week they play in front of horse **** bad crowds - not that their home crowds are anything to shout about, but I'm happy to play along! Why are they not "ripping up" the league when they play away from home if the crowd size is such a big issue?
-
Since when has 'not being able to afford something' ever stopped them?
-
Which translates to : Points won = 31 Points lost = 57 Pretty impressive if you're a scummer Would love to see them ditch witts in favour of clotterill, that would be the icing on top of the cherry on top of the icing on the cake

It's not less than they thought they owed, the figures have been know about for many months during the 'takeover', they jut haven't been put in the public domain. It is less than they SHOULD be paying due to all the pressure that rag and their fans put on the players to sign the 'compromise' deals. However looking at those figures it doesn't look like much of a compromise! I'd hate to see how much they owed before the begging began. The PPs have increased due to TV rights - I think they got an extra 4 million over two years? - if it hadn't been for this lucky increase then I don't think they could have afforded to repay the loan to the council for the stadium. They will, however since they are spreading the payments out over 40 months it appears they are intent on not using the PPs to pay off their legacy debts.
-
ROFLMFAO. So, basically tricky trev took the decision last year to not bother paying any of the players? Now, they are in a position that they have to play last season's team AND this season's team - and will be doing this for the next 3.5 years! Hey, ho, at least they got their club back!
-
Lol. Trying to blame the football creditors rule as well. They truly have the most retarded 'principles' over there. Without the football creditors rule they would have been declared bankrupt owing over £160m. With the FC rule they were still bankrupt owing £160m, but only had to pay back 20% of the money [originally ]. The FC rule has been their saving grace for the past five years and now they want to start pointing the finger and shouting how unfair it is! As for Steve Bone, what a complete and utter bell end. Owed money from not one, but BOTH administrations!

That can't be true. There's a huge sign above the stands at FP stating proudly that they 'own their club'. Ownership must mean a say in the running surely? There's no way the Skates could have been fooled by an elaborate ponzi scheme?
