  1. LOL. So that wouldn't be able to track people's cars then? It's all well and good saying that the data 'would have' to be held seperately from personal data, but we already have ANPR systems all over the motorway network tracking number plates etc. Also, rural drivers wouldn't be charged? How ludicrous is that? Surely the motorways would be empty with everyone taking the non charged roads?
  2. It's 1hr 15 minutes to fly from London to Edinburgh. For some people, time is more important than money....
  3. Blast from the past
  4. So, you don't have an answer then?
  5. Also, you could probably have bought a second hand car for £100, spent £100 on fuel and saved £100. Probably would have got there quicker too!
  6. Please explain how you will charge people by how much they drive, without some sort of tracking device..... Unless of course you meant to just put the tax on fuel up even more
  7. Re-nationalise the coal industry? Excellent news for the Unions, they haven't had a decent strike in years!
  8. Because it isn't profitable
  9. And the way to do this is with a GPS tracker in every vehicle right? And you were complaining about the Government knowing too much about our movements with an ID card
  10. So why don't we do it?
  11. LOL. And end up driving more people onto the roads
  12. I bet she made it up
  13. To be fair I'd go with : a little faster than now and affordable. How exactly will it happen though - it's not like we need more railway tracks is it? I think people choose internal flights over trains because even with the waiting around / check in etc, the plane is still more enjoyable than trundling along in a stinking train carriage stopping every ten minutes for one person to get off / on.
  14. I think that's the point though isn't it? The Journalist wasn't asking JP to comment on financial matters, merely the implication of those financial matters on the playing side...
  15. to be fair even Alpine sounds positive after a tour of the pubs
  16. They aren't THAT expensive. And MW does have lots of time on his hands to care for them, after all it's not like he has anything important to do like submitting his company accounts  http://www.thompson-morgan.com/plants1/index.html
  17. I wonder if he charged them an extra £50 for arguing http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/search/3955857.Clampers_charge___450_to_release_cars_and_fine___50_for_arguing/
  18. It was going so well up until then Hoddle is a failure as a manager.
  19. That's revolutionary set ups for you
  20. We've had over 200 shots on goal this season, so it's not that we aren't creating the chances. I would suggest that if a decent striker were employed who could have scored, say, ten goals so far, then we could easily have gained an extra ten points - and still had half the season left to gain an additional ten points.
  21. Maybe Euell has an appearance fee :smt102
  22. Not unless Rupert leaves
  23. That's one of the most ridiculous statements you've ever written. Are you suggesting that a highly paid striker would cost us more than the total sum of administration
  24. I have it on good authority that he does actually water the plants at SMS EVERY week!
