Anyone else watching this? What a load of bollix. These guys are being trained to go to war and kill people, I would have thought / expected a little bit of rough and tumble to be part and parcel of the training.....

To be fair the passing works during the game as well. The only problem is it's always around the centre spot, with the opposition sitting back and waiting for the inevitable f*ck up.

Unfortunately I don't think we have any forward thinking astute people working at the club..... For example, blocks 1-4, used to be available for an adult / child ticket pair [a reasonable saving]. But, blocks 1-3 have now been closed, so all the people who used to sit there are now crammed into block 4, leaving no seats for the reduced price tickets. Someone with a modicum of sense would probably have allowed these tickets to be available in block 5, but not our club it would seem..... Granted the deal is still valid in the Chapel, Itchen Chapel corner and Block 34, but I know my nipper likes to be in block 4 to soak up a bit of the atmosphere and banter with the opposition, something which is lacking in other parts of the ground....

Must have. All I saw was him skulking around the half way line, jogging back to defend, then taking as much time as possible to get going again when we broke. Not to mention the passes that went to no-one in particular. He did put in one good challenge though.

You forget the wholesale redundancies around the country - well except the Gov't sector of course - and increased food prices.... But I agree, not a lot going on at all.....

Luckily the fat bird in Greggs didn't realise though, so lunch went down well.

Aside from the fact that he waddles with his arse sticking out - a bit like Donald Duck - he was very poor last night. I would have thought that being out of the team for so long, and finally getting a decent[ish] run out, he would have been hungry to prove a point. Perhaps he doesn't have one to prove.....

Maybe they should put in a bit more stamina training..... Most professional footballers can last the distance, why can't ours? I can't recall BWP putting in anything other than a short jog tbf, is it a coincidence he came on after about 60 minutes??
