They're Welsh. It's not like they had no warning is it? The bloody weather forecast has predicted nothing but heavy rain and flooding for over a week now. Doesn't take much to fill a few hessien bags with a bit of sand does it? Just because some tourists got over confident with their 4x4 doesn't garner my pity I'm afraid - what on earth were they doing driving around in those conditions in the first place?

We would have to pay our legal team up front, and the law is VERY fickle, so no guarantees we would win anyway. They on the other hand are using 'legal aid' so aren't paying a penny.

Depends how you [or someone else] 'finished off' the CD when it was first written. Some software programs will effectively 'seal' the CD up once files have been written to it and not allow any more info to go onto it. Easier just to get another CD, copy what is on the first one, then add the new stuff to it, choosing the option to allow more info to be written at a later date...

Normally that would be a great idea, however knowing where these people live and come from, I think even my nastiest regulars might think twice.... The Pikies that owe me a favour or two on the other hand won't shirk away from anyone....
