Guaranteed seat - even IF sold out. Guaranteed seat where you want it. No queuing for tickets. No online malarky for tickets. Priority tickets for away games and cup matches etc etc..... No. Your opinion on how the team is performing holds as much sway as anyone else's. The points scored is the ultimate measure - I know we can generally reserve judgement until after 10 games or so - but I remain pessimistic that we will not have amassed a significant total even after 10 games....

You can guarantee they will get more experience, but not that they will necessarily improve, if that's how things worked, why haven't we kept last season's team, who would be vastly improved?

John. You seem to be a little misguided as to how a football club works. The manager may ask for players, money for players, new shoes for his wife, etc etc, but at the end of the day, the go-ahead will be given to spend the money by the Chairman, on the advice of the finance director [although the Chairman can of course ignore any advice given to him/her]. Culpability will therefore always rest with the man/woman at the top. However, having said that, it is not reasonable to expect the Chairman to be fully conversant with all areas of the business [except Lowe of course ], so the blame can be shared out between the various 'advisors' - manager, directors etc... You seem to hold the opinion that the Chairman is completely blameless for anything that happens to the club / company...

So, why are the bank getting involved with team selection?
