So why has this "evidence" only come to light now? Surely if true, clubs would have protested to the football league at the time it was alleged to have happened.

Am hoping that both clubs have been briefed about potential punishments, maybe we have been given some indication that our place in the final isn't under threat, which is why we seem so calm about it. On the other hand, Middlesborough as the potentially aggrieved party still have to go through the motions of playing the injured party for appearence sakes to placate their fans.

Leeds received a fine, it's a massive leap from that to be kicked out of an entire cup tournament, as that is what the play offs effectively are. Also, lets not forget Leeds admitted to doing it one more than one occasion, this if proved to be true is once. They really need to get a grip on reality.
