I don't have a problem with us playing out from the back, we are pretty good at it, despite some shit your pants moments. What annoys the fuck out of me is how slow we are in an attacking sense. Most defences we come up against our just two huge centre halves, not very mobile and not very quick. If we moved the ball forward as quickly as we seem to play out of defence, we would score so many more.

Just so infuriating to watch us play safe boring football against absolute bang average teams. Save for that Wright fella, Coventry were fuckin awful.

At the end of the day we can't control what other teams do. The bare minium for us this season was play offs, I would suggest we are going to make that target comfortably. However, we have under performed as a team this season. This squad should absolutely be a lot closer to both Leicester and Ipswich. Having said that, this is a complete freak of a season as they seem to win every week.

Vastly inferior. I'd wager they've not had too many injurires or suspensions either to this point. Also, a fair bulk of that squad were playing League One football last season, the vast majority of ours, Premier League.

I'd question that to be honest, player for player we have better. Martin is holding this squad back as it stands by not playing to their potential.

If you take that quote in isolation, it almost seems as if doesn't want goals like that being scored. The fact that we hadn't passed it amongst ourselves about 90 times seems like the only type of goals he is happy with. I've not heard the interview, but I hope he did find the time to say what a fantastic effort it was from KWP. It was the only true moment of quality in a otherwise uninspiring performance.
