  1. To be fair, none of the happy hammers are having a good game. Loved the pictures of the home fans streaming out of the ground.
  2. If we go up, will he get another chance in the Premier League?
  3. Least we forget Ross Stewart should be fit by then...................possibly
  4. Agree with that. He has a tendancy to look very lazy in games, almost like he can't be bothered at times. Since the turn of the year he seems to have upped his game some what. Fair play to the lad, as it could have been easy for him to just shrug his shoulders and go back to France.
  5. I'd much rather Leicester beat Leeds though. Just want that bit of insurance and daylight between them and us. We absolutely do not want a straight shoot out with them on the last day.
  6. Possibly, but by that token so should Leeds. They've slipped up in matches they should have won.
  7. I'd rather we pulled away from both Leeds and Ipswich. Time to forget about catching Leicester.
  8. I also think that this run isn't getting the proper respect it deserves. Commentators etc would be falling over themselves if Leeds or Leicester had been on this run.
  9. I agree, he's had a good season, but some of those chances he's not put away you would expect a player at his level to stick away.
  10. Guess that's the problem we are going to face now. Looking at the next two games, possibly tight affairs against Bristol C and WBA. Might only get one or two chances per game, how many of us will be sticking up for Armstrong if he powder puffs that one chance like he did yesterday? Just comes back to the age old question from the summer, why did we spunk so much on a injured striker?
  11. Hah! Meant into the 20's, my bad.
  12. Counted at least four times. The one with the keeper was laughable.
  13. Not saying he is a bad player for this level, just that if he was more clinical he would be into double figures already. Many a time he's hit shots straight at the keeper when in decent positions. Yesterday's effort was more like a pass back to the keeper.
  14. Can he? If he was a clinical finisher he would be well into the 20's by now. He's missed a few one on ones this season already.
  15. I think this is the game where lose the run. We struggled against them at home, but for the KWP worldie we probably wouldn't have won.
  16. Not much good though if you can't finish
  17. Absolutely. Said at the time I thought it might cost us, thankfully it didn't. He's such a strange player, no way should he be playing through the middle, seems to miss more tham he actually scores. You'd have thought he'd be the one to make way for Brooks, but being captain, its going to be difficult for Martin to not play him.
  18. Bit harsh on Sule. He's just come back from a lengthy injury absence. Thought he did OK when he came on. Gave their defence something to worry about with his pace.
  19. That was a crazy game on so many levels. Really great second half, first half as poor as we've been all season. The strength of our bench saved us today. Ridiculously strong for this level. Must admit at half time I didn't think we'd turn it round, but the two quick goals just after got the belief going. Even after their third goal, you could still sense we were going to get something from the game. Just felt we had no control in the game. I think they surprised us with the way they played, fair play to them. Ref was absolutely hopeless, fell for all the play acting, and missed a couple of nasty challenges by them. At least it was 5-3 instead of 4-3 for those 13 minutes.
  20. Discounting Dibling?
  21. If they are that keen, they can buy him outright.
  22. Just get the game over as a contest by half time. No hanging on to a one nil lead going into the last ten minutes.
  23. Fuck me, he's got to score there.
  24. Used to love page 312, news in brief
  25. They must fancy the Anfield pay day
