That's seriously naive. They're all exactly same. Cash is king.
-
Don't think that one would happen. Don't think Bielsa would work under Levy. Mind you, I said that about the Mourinho to Spurs rumours too.
-
That's one way of looking at it of course. The reality is, in THAT group of clubs they're the Leicester city or Everton. If the ESL one day say "nah we don't want you in our little club anymore" and Spurs have already been chucked out of the league, there's no recourse. I don't think the 'big 6' will be thrown out in any case, there's too much involved. But if you're Daniel Levy, you've got to consider everything including ramifications. But you have a valid point.
-
Well Gao has us up for sale. And I think we wanted to be taken over during the summer, as the bloke above said, it's the worst possible time now.
-
I reckon Spurs. This is a massive gamble for them. They've got no arbitrary right to be involved and if the PL do throw them out of the league and the ESL decide they don't want them anymore at any time in the future, they are up shits creek. From what I gather, the ESL make their own rules and can do what they like. It's a closed shop.

Did you miss the part where I said "leaving the wider picture asside"....
-
Yup. We've got greedy fuckers here aswell. Sorry to break it to you.
-
They would have snapped their hand off they got invited to the party. Their entire statement is hilarious.
-
Given this ESL shitstorm a lot of other clubs will be sticking their rods in that pond aswell.
-
Leaving the wider picture to one side for a moment, I'm finding it highly fucking amusing that the 14 clubs who have creamed the Sky TV pot for over a decade and have relied on it to fund their lavish club culture and paying exorbitant wages, are now absolutely shitting themselves.
-
Don't think it's a smoke screen, it's been in the pipeline since Leicester won the league.
-
Can't see how that works. Player contracts still need to be paid. Commercial contracts still need paying. I like the idea but it's impossible. What I would like to see is fans treating this as business aswell, fans could leverage this. These 14 clubs are still greedy fuckers and they need fans as a collective unit to get behind it and there needs to be something in it for the fans aswell. The whole thing is a mess. But that's greed for you.
-
Can't see where I said "reset everything".
-
Quite. A lot of fans don't realise that if you boot the big 6 you're effectively forfeiting a massive wad of cash. Sky aren't going to pump in gobs of cash without them.
-
I watched it and he would say that. Palace, like us, are full in the shit if the 'big six' get booted. They're the reason the TV money is what it is.
-
Neville went full in with studs up. Called the glazers "scavengers" & "snakes". Thing is people are losing their shit but according to MNF this ESL isn't proposed to commence until 2024 or something.

Nail. Head. Hit. Fucking post. 👏

Klopp literally said Liverpool football club are bigger than the decisions FSG have made. That's about as direct as he can be live on camera that his employers will see.
-
Klopp being interviewed right now on Monday Night Football and he's fucking pissed. He's gone. 100%. He's livid.
-
Fuck me. Watching Monday Night Football Carragher ripping right into Liverpool's owners FSG saying they've used the club's history going back to Shankly to line their own pockets. He's probably going to get banned from Anfield. Neville piling into Woodward and Man United aswell.
-
He's reactionist radio bloke who winds people up, but I couldn't disagree with him on any of it. Darren Gough also had Leeds United to go down this season before the start. Don't know how he could have thought that with Bielsa.
-
Durham really laying into Hasenhuttl saying us being this bad and playing that badly yesterday is a sackable offence. Darren Gough reckons we'll go down next season.
-
Probably massive potential Tax revenue evaporating straight out of the economy if it happens. I can't think why else the govt would get involved in it. I don't even know if that's even correct.
-
Listening to Jordan on TalkSport this morning he's saying the yanks. But who's that? Is it going to be one massive franchise? I also can't see where or who's money its coming from.
