Thought that was more the release clause in his contract than anything else IIRC. Was under the impression he chose Dortmund as I'm pretty certain Raiola went on TalkSport saying any other move doesn't make sense at that time, presumably he predicted a mega money move after Dortmund, looks like he was right.

Racist abuse on social media after team loses
JustinSFC replied to East Kent Saint's topic in The Saints
This is the one post I'm going to make in this because I think it's pathetic and I don't have a lot of time for it but I'm sorry this post is all sorts of stupid and so is the one you're quoting too. So really, what you're saying is it's ok to call someone a "f*king wog" "n*gger" or in the case of Son a "dog eater" as long as they don't know what they're raging about? Ok got it. -
I hope they get fucking battered.

What happens in those games depends on what happens in the FA Cup. If we get smashed in the semi final I can barely see 4 points out of that lot. If we win then I can see: Palace draw Fulham win. Maybe do Spurs. 7pts Maybe an additional draw thrown in. I don't really care what happens more interested in Sunday.

I don't like to lay into our players but this was one shit signing for someone we'd supposedly been tracking for 5 years...or something...
-
It would go exactly the same way because he wears a cap like Klopp and he's mates with him. And pumps his fists a lot.
-
Won't happen. I sat through the entire Pellegrino reign and the worst it got was people leaving on around 85 minutes and one single chorus of boo's and then everyone just filtered out of the stadium in silence. And Ralph has a hell of lot more credit in the bank than Pellegrino ever had, even now. It's running out, but he's still got more credit than that clown had.

Jesus fucking christ. That's the spirit.

I can believe that number for a release clause but never in a million years to sack him. I cannot imagine, in any world, we'd leave ourselves that wide open.
-
That isn't quite the same thing as a sack clause is it? That's if a club wants to take him. That's not the same as dismissal for poor performance/results is it? Also, like you say, that's Alex Crook and I'm not sure we'd give Crook that level of info. Anyway who knows.
-
How do you know that? I'm not saying you're wrong but how do you know? Like I said, based on what I read, which may or may not have been true, but I'll take a punt right now that whoever wrote it knows more about it than I do, that unless you're a top, top, top manager you won't get that. And keep in mind, you're still talking millions at 1 year.
-
Keep in mind I have no idea what Ralph's contract is, but I did read somewhere, it might have been The Athletic about what happens when a manager get's sacked and unless you're an elite manager in world football at a massive club, the general payoff is about 1 years contract. Whether that's true or not, who knows, I don't have that kind of knowledge. People will say "but Hughes got this, Hughes got that" that might be true aswell but as a football fan, I don't particularly care other than the performance of the manager and the results we get, I find it weird that fans care more about the bank balance than winning fucking games of football. Contrarily, I will also say, this has been a season that's been hugely impacted by events out of Ralph's control, so there is that too. That being said, on balance we've been very good and we've been absolutely dogshit too. 11 losses in 14. Flipping hell man.

Wikipedia has Romeu at 183cm. I'm flat footed and I'm 6'1, I've been stood directly next to him almost and I'd say he's a lot more than 1 inch shorter than me, he's barely 6ft.

Our referees are, in the main, of a certain age, could it be that they need an eye test? The line drawing is shambolic at best.
-
You're going to have to explain that one mate....

This obsession people have with club finances over a manager who has been piss fucking poor for months and months is just plain weird and in any other walk of life you'd be punted. If he walks, you can guarantee he's going to blame us for the whole lot and that bothers me a lot more than the cost advantages of which I'm never personally going to see a penny of anyway. So why would I care? He's not going to be a on a Jose Mourinho style £30M sack clause is he? At least I bloody hope not. I'd rather sack him and pay than him control the entire narrative afterwards. But that's just my humble opinion.

Are you kidding me? 2 weeks ago he was the one of the best in the world and Ronaldo on here. Joking asside, he contributes a lot and that tonight was one bad game in a long time for him and the whole team were shite. JWP is clearly a big part of Ralph's game, granted Ralph's game isn't massively effective at the moment but that's a whole other conversation. To single him out in isolation based on that tonight is harsh, it was the whole lot of them.
-
Depends who the "Some at Saints feel he is" is... Who would that be? I was under the impression that Ralph has such a significant role in the club was because nobody else at board level are that football savvy bar pretty much Ralph himself. I was at the fan forum with Ralph and that was the general message that I feel was being put across.
-
This club was here before Ralph and it'll be here after him aswell, my only hope is that we get there first and sack him before he walks of his own accord because we'll look like fucking mugs if that happens after sticking with him, when nearly all other clubs in the league wouldn't have done. I kind of feel like he might walk himself after Leicester if we get smashed and all the PR spin and bollocks from his side will follow about how he couldn't do what he wanted to do and all that bluster. Whatever happens, if we get tonked in the semi-final, Semmens needs to get there first and boot him, I'm talking like, immediately.
-
Howe or the bloke at Brentford.
-
He wears a hat like Klopp and was mates with him though.
-
No way.
-
He should have made those changes ages ago the stupid fucking prick.
-
I don't know. It's genuinely hard to tell. One thing I do know is our players on paper are not this bad.
-
imo, I still think we go into next season with him but if the first 10 games are more of the same and no different and I mean COMPLETELY different then adios. Personally, I'd boot him now to have at least a shot in the Semi-final, if we play like we have in that half, we'll get absolutely hammered.
