  1. Depends if we get taken over and who buys us. I don't think what you're describing is actively in the clubs train of thought right at this moment. To be honest.
  2. The Echo just rewrites what's already out there in the main. Not a chance they still get exclusives, not that they ever did. Blackmore seems to be the only one that gets it from the horse's mouth.
  3. Yeah I've subscribed to the athletic for ages and there isn't even half the detail in anything he writes compared to other writers for other teams. The guy who covers Chelsea is brilliant the article he did after Lampard got sacked, for insider scoop was superb. Sheldon just sounds like guff I could have guessed.
  4. Moyes was always solid he took that United job directly after Fergie and that would have ruined anyone.
  5. His close ball control is fucking dire but we're better with him than without him. Him, Walker-Peters & Ings are our game everyone else enable it. Someone on here said he had no other offers and the deal was £50k a week wages.
  6. No no no. Don't even go there. Ffs. I was on here about 6 years ago'ish and you were the same person then as you are now. Yes I'm a new poster, but I'm not NEW new.
  7. I still think we've got a better team than they have on paper. Moyes is using a system that plays to the strengths of all the players as a unit. If we take one of Walker-Peters or Ings out of our team, we can't play our system and there isn't another one. And this goes from u'18's right through to the first team.
  8. Ralph knew this. And still hoofed a heap of players out on loan? Who carries the can for that?
  9. Oh shit.
  10. ... And Bolton and Sunderland and Notts County and Burnley an absolute mile before anyone else. But he's just looking for an argument and I can't be arsed to reply to him anymore.
  11. Agreed. Ralph's shopping list if we're going by the Pelle/Koeman type relationship would be Timo Werner. I think that pound for pound scenario would be physically out of our reach full stop in today's market.
  12. Good post that. Also added the fact that Pelle was the 2nd or 3rd top scorer in Europe at that time and didn't get injured anything like Ings.
  13. He's been all over just about every takeover before anyone else. Period. He is brilliant for that.
  14. We signed Pelle nearly a decade ago mate. Prices have risen. A Pelle now in any League would be quoted £30m quid at least. In my opinion. It's not fact. Opinion.
  15. Best on Twitter is Nixon and Blackmore. Nixon tends to get things nobody else gets within a mile of. And I find Blackmore on the money with confirming or discarding rumours. Like when every journo, Sky pundit, Sky Sports "breaking news" had us in for Josh King at Bournemouth and Blackmore called BS on it within about 20 minutes.
  16. IIRC the only reason we got Pelle was because he was friends with Koeman or played for him or something. We wouldn't get a Pelle now, not South of at least £30m quid.
  17. I'll agree with that on balance. Ralph's been here 3 years. Every season we play outstanding football, we really do but also every season we go through bad patches, by bad patches, I mean absolutely fucking dreadful that no other team has, ignoring the Sheffield Uniteds and WBA's and your usual Norwich's. So really, how does that rate Ralph? Look at West ham this season. Are West Ham a better team on paper than we are? I don't think so. Ralph Hasenhuttl's (fanboys aside) isn't what some think he is.
  18. And what's your point? We're right not to sack Ralph because Newcastle haven't sacked fucking Bruce? Right.
  19. I was on here many years ago when I broke my leg. Can't even remember what my name was then haha.
  20. Hard, hard game this one. Score Draw. Need to see both teams on the day mind.
  21. Ralph isn't going to be on some massive £20M payoff Jose Mourinho contract clause to sack him. It'll be £3m TOPS possibly, I mean really possibly pushing the upper echelons of probability, it might... MIGHT... be £5m. We could if we really wanted to. But we can't and not for why you think it is either. We've structured the entire club infrastructure around him, that's what makes him hard to sack. Not the money.
  22. No he hasn't. He hasn't had a 9-0 beating. If he had, even for Mike Ashley, that would have been unlikely he'd still be there now.
  23. That's well and good, but no other manager in the Premier League would get the run of games he's had. None. We have some of the softest fans in the league.
  24. This is how I saw it aswell.
  25. We won the game but Ralphs tactics were still a bit suspect. We invited a lot of pressure from Burnley with some of the sub choices had we been against a better attacking side than Burnley we almost certainly would have chucked 3 points from a winning position again.
