All of you guys blaming 3 at the back for our midfield woes (which I get) but you're forgetting the big issue which really put us and Still on the back foot from kick off: Mr f**king chicken livers hearing about a bid for him and packing up shop. This was the formation we were playing for 70 minutes Baz Stevo Wood THB Mads. Manning Charles Weeman Robinson Azaz Archer With the best will in the world Fraser & JayRob are going to get muscled out of it by that Watford team no matter what shape we play. Charles busier than a one-legged man at a an arse kicking competition. Archer is never in the game except to put away chances, Azaz missed most of preseason with an injury so isn't fully up to speed yet and it's his first game for us. Aribo & Smallbone are at home with their managers, so our other midfield options were Matsuki, Edwards, or Shoehorn... Having trained 3 at the back for a month you are f**ked either way as the manager in this situation. I thought we made a decent fist of it bearing in mind the players on the team sheet. Should Aribo or Smallbone have travelled? Maybe yes. * Azaz I thought did pretty well all things considered - definitely worn out but still trying when he went off. Later in the season I reckon he buries that chance. * Roerslav - what a player we have signed. A properly safe pair of hands. Forced off by that big lump charging into him off the ball > that's why Jack was up in his face after the free kick (not because he was close to Bazunu) * Stewart asked to play deep left wing which surely doesn't come naturally did alright, and I loved him skinning their RB round the outside so hard that he limped off straight away. On the plus side everyone is talking about our squad and Ipswich's squad - and they are 3 points behind us. We are only 4 behind Leicester. It could be worse. Now lets train a new system and absolutely smash the skates.

If I was Ross Stewart and I'd worked my nuts off for two years to get fit after a nasty injury that was no fault of mine I'd be sick of hearing this ten times a day on here (and often from you) He was ill last week - but so was Downs When was Ross last injured? 3rd April this year. He played in the last eight games of our PL season and scored against Arsenal. He had a full pre-season and seems to be moving freely. He was millimetres away from two goals away at Norwich; so he was in the right place just not quite there. He's never shown any hint of laziness or bad attitude that we as fans have seen. Why can't you just try to embrace some of the positivity we have right now and enjoy what could be a really rewarding recovery to form this year. Maybe it won't be - but that's the thing with the soap opera of football - you never know quite what's going to happen next. This week is prime example. I will love it if LND starts knocking them in for us like he did for Sunderland, and we have recruited the players to supply him.

Video is 6 month old. Some of the comments beneath: "The best player we've had in years. I really hope he stays with us beyond the summer. In a few years, he'll be our maestro in the national team." "Hopefully he stays at least one more season. Great guy!" "One of the best. If not the best! And ultra humble!"

Jander is mates with Quashie, and also played against Downs last season. Matski's buddy got loaned out...
-
He has a new house to christen with the missus if the presser is anything to go by
-
FABRIZIO ROMANO your team of snivelling informants took one hell of a beating!!!!!
-
No - but I like the cut of her beaver
-
Will Jander be registered in time?
-
You can recommend ACDC as goal music 😉
-
Do you still have that dildo up your arse?
-
Didn't have you down as an ABK fan

Nobody has posted a Steve de Ridder yet so I will. Welcome Caspar

Inspired by the boyos no doubt

"We're all here for the Fellow's Goal Machine" - to the tune of Yellow Submarine would work
-
"We all live in a Fellow's Submarine" seems more likely 😉
-
Unfortunately I struggle to imagine the Northam hitting the high notes

One of those crosses in that twitter compilation was for Adam Armstrong. May have been able to pass on details of attitude, how he trains etc Good to see that he can play it back on the floor for our stumpy forwards as well as hang it up at the back post for Downs & Nessie
-
But aside from his 9 A* at GCSE he has continued his French& Spanish after A level - so clearly ambitious...He signed a four year contract so he'll be here two years probably.
-
Stu Armstrong would like a word...
-
His contract is up in 2027 so they want to sell him this window. Surely personal terms are done at this point. Just need to meet in the middle on the fee. Interesting to note that last year 3 free kicks made you the best in Europe; yet JWP scored 4,4, and 3 in his three last PL seasons with us. Hasn't scored one since...
-
One of those four goalies will go back to the under 21 squad
-
Doesn't he play for Boca Juniors?
-
Rangers & RM on a hiding 8-1 on aggregate 5 mins into second half 😁

Listening to Adam Blackmore it sounds like Azaz is virtually over the line. So that got me thinking about a team for Watford (and the blue few) and I realised that a Ralph style 4-2-2-2 might suit us better than a 4-2-3-1. Thoughts?
