I don't actually mind that, better than the lunchtime KO for me. Not ideal for those living outside city but all day drinking on a bank holiday weekend should have the crowd well up for it.

In fairness, and as someone who normally hates weakened cup teams, we had literally just made the league cup final so I found that one quite forgivable.

You'll still be able to stand, just means there isn't a bit of scaffolding in front of those seats. Failing that just move when you get there. Will be loads of space.

Did anyone see any issues walking back to the tube? Saw something on a Fulham forum about some yoof kicking off and spitting at people but didn't see anything myself. Disappointing if so.

Yeah I was in similar place to you and thought it was really good. Think I only heard a library song twice which is very unlike us. Like you I went with really low expectations given the big allocation but it had a big occasion feel about it right from the off and both team and fans rose to it.

Club said additional allocation would go into Kingsland when they announced the changes didn't they? Better not be the Chapel.

Sunderland finished 4th last season not 6th. It's been years since a 6th placed team won them, Blackpool maybe?

No 3rd and 4th still play in a two legged semi as normal. The other 4 just have to play a one off game to decide who they play.
