Where did you get this list from? Surely clubs with 30k+ capacities will have to offer 3k in line with regulations. Not that we'd be taking 3k to the likes of Sunderland and Boro of course but we've taken more than those quoted figures to Leeds and Norwich in recent seasons. Cardiff too on our last visit there I believe. Think Wednesday can offer more too although again not likely to affect us. They did have a capacity reduction on the Leppings Lane earlier this year mind.

'Goal' celebration was brilliant, probably best I've been part of years I reckon. Typical it was disallowed!

We don't have enough supporters willing to sing to have a proper home end. Where the away fans are whilst annoying isn't the main cause of poor atmosphere at the ground imo. It's only a huge problem for FA Cup games and that's also on the club inexplicably offering more tickets than we have to. The idea that moving away fans to a corner or trying to create a home end is going to turn the ground into some sort of bear pit is for the birds.

Knew this would happen. Bet they didn't want loads of Saints fans going down on the drink all day on a Saturday when we've already been relegated.
-
Same as Aribo has a song despite being a dreadful footballer.
-
Not difficult to see why we don't score many...
-
More Saturday 3pm KO's. Better home atmospheres. New grounds to visit. For those saying no VAR then there's a very good chance that the championship brings in a watered down version next season unfortunately.

Those few seasons tend to all blur into one for me. Don't think I could recall more than a handful of matches from that whole period and I had a season ticket for all bar 08/09.
-
Yeah that rings a bell actually. BWP got both?
-
Don't think Reading's record point total was the year we went up with them (as it was still fairly close up until their 3-1 win at St Marys towards the end of the season if I remember rightly), think it was the first time they were promoted. Our first season in championship post relegation perhaps?

You've obviously seen me at London away matches before!

Still so unbelievably chuffed that Papa got his Wembley goal. He's always offside 🎶
-
My first visit to their new ground. Any pub suggestions as presumably the options aren't great given location? Thinking I might jump off the tube at Mile End and try my luck in a few pubs around Bow.

"There is meant to be a level playing field." Is there? Not sure about that. The whole FFP regulations by design was to ensure the exact opposite

Thanks for that mate. Way to piss on my cornflakes.

If you're all going to Blackpool clap your hands 👐

Think we'll get something here. Spurs are incredibly inconsistent this season and won last week so are due a terrible performance away from home. Either that or we'll get battered with either a Kane or Son hattrick. Can't remember a narrow defeat to them in recent times.

"one on one is the hardest chance to put away" Gary Birtles ladies and gentlemen.
-
That Sulemana shot and Walcott foul threw sum up our night lol. The second is a poor goal to concede in the national league.
-
Think I'd rather watch a news report about Gary Birtles being in a terrible car accident than us attempting to play football. Has to be a some history there as to why he doesn't like us.
-
Rumour has it that Pompey plan on showing solidarity with Gary Lineker and won't appear on MOTD for at least 20 years.
-
Haha yeah in fairness there's a good chance that he's doubling down due to his regret at missing out.
-
Sellers doubled the amount of PL clean sheets Ralph got this season in just 3 matches. He did a good job here but was done by the time he went. Should have gone in Summer.
-
In fairness I work with a Brighton fan who does this all the time. Had been a STH since they played at Gillingham but gave it up after the first season of VAR. Yeah it seems this thread is bad timing because of how poorly we're doing but there are many people who would have the same sentiments even if we were doing well. It's bigger than simply whether team x or y is doing well. The whole sport has become far less enjoyable to many fans. I don't watch non Saints games or motd anymore (would have been unthinkable a few years back) and I'm sure I'm not alone in that.

Dreadful news about the Blackpool fan losing his life. How fucking tragic over a game of football. This has been coming for a while sadly. Hopefully the cunt/s who did it have been caught on video and go to prison.
