Just watched his post match on the official site. https://www.southamptonfc.com/ Things that stood out - he talked up everyone - all his players, his coaches, the fans - he's clearly enjoying his job - he said he's excited to see how good his players can be - he's excited about being alive in the relegation fight It's only one game but I can't help but think this is a style of leadership that is going to get the best out of people. Roll on Leeds.

One thing struck me particularly is Selles said we needed an identity before the match. He certainly delivered on that promise. We didn't look like eleven blokes who'd met on the coach for first time unlike the rest of this season. If we continue and evolve that identity we're not going down without a fight. Whether we've left it too late us another matter but for the first time in ages it feels like we've got a chance.

Selles PpG 3.

I assume you mean either when he makes it or what kind of howler. I reckon he'll punch into his own net on 70 minutes for the equaliser after we go 1-0 up.
-
Can't say I'm thrilled with Moi and Janny B but I'm not going to have a proper strop until at least half time.
-
Or a Jones Jump if you will
-
By the same token I wouldn't even go shopping in Portsmouth.
-
Totally agree. Leadership is about clarity and he communicated his views really well.
-
I wish I could speak that well. Loved the honesty and the attitude.

We're living in opposite world so and I can't see anything else than us igniting Potter's Chelsea career. So 2-1 to Saints courtesy of Lavia and Ballard.
-
Current betting is Jesse Marsch 2/1 Steven Gerrard 4/1 Sam Allardyce 8/1 Mauricio Pochettino 9/1 Marcelo Gallardo 10/1 Nuno Esprito Santo 10/1 Ruben Selles 12/1
-
Or in this case "shins"
-
Now Jones has gone can we send Bednarek back to Aston Villa on loan?
-
Any of: Poch for rest of the season Bielsa Gallardo Potter (if Chelsea pull the trigger)

Ah the bittersweet joy of supporting Saints. The Rasmus giveth (Jones sacking) and the Rasmus taketh away (Bruce appointment). On the plus side his stats are among the best in Europe and we've been tracking him for 18 months.
-
Maybe we're being turned into the feeder club for Goztepe?
-
Because Rasmus is right.
-
Are we 92nd out of 92 teams yet?
-
He reminds me of someone who uses statistics to replace judgement rather than to complement or test it.
-
We couldn't even fucking do this. Jonesball is about inviting pressure and giving away possession like a Sunday League team.
-
I don't believe it. Ankersen still thinks he's Brad Pitt are we're about to start the Moneyball winning montage. Plus he has a whole Ted talk on spotting potential he needs to support. It'll be one more game. Then another because no one expects us to beat Chelsea. Until finally we "turn the corner" against Grimsby.
-
I don't have a scooby either. Maybe he's talking about commitment?
