  1. Is Djenepo bullying Pulisic here?
  2. I hope not. Looked like he was walking gingerly though
  3. From the BBC We have an unprecedented opportunity to extend the worst conceding streak in the history of the competition on the day of the week where we have the lowest chance of winning the game and where we can extend our worst record in 2022 further. The stars truly are aligning for us tonight. So I predict 2-0 to Saints. ----------------------------- Head-to-head Chelsea have scored in each of their last 17 Premier League away games against Southampton - the longest scoring streak one team has had against another away from home in the history of the competition. Ralph Hasenhuttl's only win in seven meetings with Thomas Tuchel (D1, L5) was a 1-0 victory for RB Leipzig against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga in September 2016. Southampton They have won just three of their last 20 top-flight fixtures in midweek (D7, L10). The Hampshire club have a 21% win rate in Premier League games on Tuesdays, lower than than on any other day of the week. Southampton have lost 11 league matches since the start of March, more than any other side in the English top flight.
  4. Only if he signs for Arsenal.
  5. Callum Hudson-Odoi signed on loan for Bayer Leverkusen. With Harry Winks, Ashley Maitland-Niles, Neco Williams, Brandon Williams all out of the picture of near as dammit we've nearly exhausted the usual suspects roll call.
  6. After all, what better way to show solidarity with our South coast neighbours...
  7. I hear Scott Parker's available.
  8. Man Utd pretty much have to inflate their transfer sales as much as possible to pay for the £200M of attackers they bring in every summer 🤣
  9. You could say that but maybe he's using Sampdoria to put himself in the shop window for Saints for summer 2023.
  10. So they did.
  11. Watching his YouTube highlights for the last year now and he likes to run at players and has an eye for a forward pass.
  12. Weren't PSV after El Ghazi from Villa?
  13. MLG can dominate the transfer thread even when he's not posting. And he's a verb (to be MLGed). That's forum royalty. In other news I hope we do get Gakpo through the door. Would show some real intent.
  14. Anyone who put a bet on Ralph to be the first managerial casualty of the season just lost their money. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/aug/30/bournemouth-sack-scott-parker-as-manager-after-9-0-defeat-at-liverpool
  15. Agreed. I would replace Moi.
  16. Just stick a blonde wig on Adam A
  17. Start Mara. The kid's got something that makes things happen.

  19. At his best Stu stretches play, makes space and creates things. At his worst he holds the ball too long and gives it away. At his best Moi is tidy and occasionally can finish. His creative output is low though. At his worst he's anonymous. And this is, for me, why Mara should be picked ahead of both right now. He is positive and seems fearless. Throw in Redmond who at his best is game changing but is maddeningly inconsistent. And Tella who is fast but raw. Right now Aribo stands out as our best attacking midfielder with Adam A 2nd on today's showing.

    Djenepo

Perraud is going to struggle to get a game if he keeps playing at this level and it makes for an interesting problem when Tino is fit.
  21. I can't get over how composed he is and how good in tight spaces. Plays some great progressive balls too.
  22. Beast. If he keeps this up he's one of the bargains of the season.
  23. I was hoping we'd get Edozie from City. He seems like he's got something about him.
  24. Mara has to be a starter sooner rather than later. He makes things happen and he's got the skills and confidence.
