It wasn't just the free-kicks. JWP was playing short corners from the left side to Perraud for out-swinging, sub-par crosses. All of this combined wreaked of overthinking simple plays. That has to come from above.

I don't think he's awful. My a-hole doesn't pucker every time he touches the ball like it does when diallo is in control.

I dont think it is fair to blame the defense when our midfield is literally short passing the ball to the brentford forwards for quick breaks the other way. Maybe that is why we should be playing hoof-ball. We might avoid Diallo coughing it up in a dangerous spot.

Im in the Jones out camp any afternoon Diallo or Ely make it onto the pitch.
