Gents, ladies, boys and girls. The only odiousness and tediousness is this continued point scoring and perceived one upmanship. Let's keep threads on topic.

Kenyan clown has a better ring to it. Stop being a clown anyway and seeing things that aren't there.

Pretty sure that all you detect is sarcasm.

First dibs on away tickets, irrespective of how many away games I assume. It's my first season as an ST in the corporate, always been in the Northam but entertaining clients with the scrotes isn't quite as much fun these days. It's a shame I won't be able to sing anymore but at least my old knees will get an easier time!
-
Yup. Corporate customers get their allocation the day before ST sales it seems.
-
I purchased my tickets today, so that would make me the first person to qualify from the forum.....kudos to me!

So how many of you are really washing your hands of saints?

Muvi? Veho? Football is being destroyed by money. I hope that even the real fans of the top clubs can understand that. -
Only me being chastised for poor grammar

They're still given a book value on the register. An asset has a value as an asset even when it's fully written down or written off. I'd imagine that players will have their NBV adjusted once a year for audit purposes at a minimum but their 'cost' will still remain as zero if they're home-grown. The profits are just that - profits.

Too much French red Whitey?

I'm a 33 year old centre half and getting slower by the day. I've had two trials with Saintsweb, neither of which resulted in a win so I could fit the Jos mould comfortably.

Interesting thought. I incentivise all my staff from warehouse to sales, so why shouldn't LR be too?
-
How old are you? Twelve? Man up.

It's late. Spelling errors are acceptable when making allowances for knee jerk reactions.

A waste of space that has achieved markedly inflated transfer fees for our players? Provided we make quality replacement signings, I suggest we don't panic just yet.

Another thread about this? Go to bed.

Fuming? On an Internet forum? 'Working toward' 'studying for'. There, Xanax not needed ;-)

I'm on my iphone with 5% battery on the sofa with a belly full of pizza while missus is out with friends. I forgot how peaceful the house is when she's not here! Enjoy France Whitey.

Dividends? There's more to business than dividends! That's an almost small minded business mentality of paying yourself below the tax thresholds and earn dividends?? This isn't a personal swipe at you by the way, I'm just trying to be informative.

Haha, too true. That'll be the Budweiser!

Weren't the shareholder loans converted to shares or similar? She can certainly take it back when she wants. Companies that are structured like this are funded by their shareholders who generally work on an ROI of 19% or similar. Therefore every pound the club use of their funds, they repay £1.19 irrespective of profits as it's taken repaid before tax.
-
Double negatives?
-
And for the record, we do have unlimited cash - just depends on what level of interest the club wish to pay to achieve their prospective ROI. Cash isn't as king-like as it may have been in the past. Assets vs liabilities = net worth is how the majority of business are judged for credit and if we keep stripping assets and she converts those shareholder loans into cash in her own pocket??? Plenty of people with more experience than me can add a much more structured argument but that's my tuppence worth.

I hate to burst your bubble but I happen to know how to run a business perfectly well thank you. £1m growth last year with 24% increase of operating income pretty much means my acumen isn't in question. Did I mention the MBA I'm working towards to? All chest pumping aside, none of us haven't got a clue what the intentions are. What we both agree on is turning £1m of depreciating assets into £5m (Fonte) and £8m into £20m is great business (salaries obviously not included). If the club are to continue in the EPL then reinvestment is needed.
-
We signed him for about £1m in League One, he's now thirty and we've been offered £5m apparently..... I'd take it. After all, KL is only asset stripping before selling up. See you in the championship next season King Cornelius.
