The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

Yeah, agreed 100%… plus it’s not just the armed forces. You can extrapolate this across the entire government. Every single department, every thing it touches is run pathetically badly and spends money like it’s Monopoly money. I genuinely believe most people have no idea how bad all this stuff is. Most people don’t want to face the reality that the UK is becoming a third world country. -

I am aware, unfortunately… I’ve also seen first hand some of the contracts and projects on HS2. Sufficed to say it’s no wonder the country is broke. They quite literally pour our taxes down the drain. Anyone that promotes higher taxes clearly has never seen how the government spends those taxes. -
Not sure why but the magic of the World Cup hasn’t kicked in at all. Atmosphere fees flat. Not seen any excitement for it. Is it just me?

Starmer is an unmitigated disaster. Who could possibly have seen this coming? -

Yes. Obviously. Why would we want to invite people with no money here? Benefits and welfare should absolutely only be provided to British taxpayers. Being a benefit to the country should be a pre-requisite for being allowed to enter. Basically the same immigration policies that sane countries have. -

In case it’s unclear: - millionaires and billionaires = good for the country - Rapey beheaders = bad for the country -

26000 millionaires have left in just 2 years. Taxes are narrowly concentrated - so those guys leaving means your share of the bill is increased at a disproportionate rate. Yes there is an exodus, and yes it’s bad because 30% of income taxes are paid by 1% -

Britain descending into a third world country that is worse than Poland, Romania and Bangladesh isn’t the win you think it is. -
Apparently Rob Edwards found out he was sacked on social media, not from the club. Ouch

Billionaires and businesses are leaving. The Laffer curve dictates that higher taxes simply don’t work. Large capital is too mobile. All that is happening are Labour are scaring away the productive class - which contribute the majority of taxes. -
A new era of transparency? The greatest era in our history?

Interesting call on LBC. Shows how out of touch the politicians are with 80% of the country

Tbf, they probs don’t want to get injured. Wouldn’t expect this to be a classic
-
Ok fair play that was a decent assist 😂

Does anyone rate Anthony Gordon? Maybe I’ve just not watched enough of him but I think he’s pony. Amazed Barca are interested

Absolute farce. Stupid decision as much as I hate Everton and want to laugh at them. We should sue Leicester now for getting promoted whilst in breach of financial regulations. They cost us an autos place
-
The problem with what you are suggesting is that what one person terms “nonsense” others deem as important issues. This is why free speech is fundamental to a free society. Ideas should be heard and then dismissed based on their merits. The fact is, these riots aren’t being caused by “nonsense” or social media incitement. They are being caused by decades of neglect of the interests of the working class of the country by a government who lies and gaslights them.
-
Keir Starmer and the government. He calls everyone far right thugs and ignores all of the issues Turkish listed.
-
The way I view it (and I appreciate you don’t agree) is that social media is not the problem. People are angry because they are being ignored. Social media is the platform that gives people a voice. By pretending that social media is the issue, he is yet again ignoring people’s valid concerns and fanning the flames of division
-
Because that’s literally all Starmer does. Even today - he’s blaming social media instead of being accountable for governments failings. He’s making everything even worse.
-
Personally I think filling our communities with thousands of unvetted criminals is the divisive part, not the protests. But what do I know.
-
What was it the left said? Oh yes - “it’s just buildings, they have insurance”

Telegraph: As UK youth unemployment soars, Keir Starmer has announced the UK Government will cover visa costs and subsidise companies hiring workers from abroad Never has a prime minister hated his own citizens as much as this wanker
