The final basically proved for sure that they were only able to get there because of ridiculously lenient refereeing. If their games were refereed fairly, they were an awful team.

Exactly…If he was positive with his subs, absolutely no one would be complaining at losing. Theres no shame going out in the semis to the world champions. The shame comes from the cowardly pathetic decisions that he made, and I want him gone ASAP.

This is such a cop out. We were easily good enough to win last night, they were nothing special (except Messi). The Manager gave them the game on a platter.

I’m not saying I disagree, but I’m saying his squad selection isn’t actually what let us down in the end. We had a squad there, playing well enough & in good enough form, last night to win that game. If he’d have been brave and brought in saka/rashford/Mainoo and tried to counter attack, we’d have won. He went so defensive and brought on only centre backs, it was fucking weird. No team will survive for half an hour with no midfield. Cowardly management and it killed us.

I think this is somewhat valid, but I’d argue that tonight we had easily enough to win this game, in a way that we haven’t in previous generations. I question tuchels squad. I’d have taken palmer, shaw, Bowen & Trent over his picks. But that’s fine. He’s somewhat been vindicated by getting this far. But in isolation, we were way on top until we scored.. then his subs made us worse and worse, culminating in an 8-0-2 formation against a team who have a strong midfield and are scared of pacey counter attacks. For me this is the first time I can look at England and genuinely feel like the players all performed towards their top level. And yet the manager fucked it completely. Before I think the players have underperformed. Tonight the manager cost us.
