There are definitely some personnel issues this season which are hindering us. Not having a striker / target man to hold the ball up is a massive problem when Che is not playing. Left back and goalkeeper are poor. But almost all of our recent problems are self inflicted by the manager chopping and changing the team and sticking to the same ridiculous strategy of passing it backwards with zero forward intent. We don’t react to the opposition at all. Our best 11 is good enough to beat anyone in the league.. I also have to ask is the squads mentality alright? Norwich beat Ipswich today simply because they wanted it more. I think we have better players than both of those teams, but as a great man once said - hard work beats talent, if talent doesn’t work hard

I’d be tempted to pull the trigger now before the playoffs and get someone more pragmatic in for the big games. We already know he doesn’t have the tactical ability to win big games.

He doesn’t react in games. You can argue that he’s a good coach and has improved some of our players. You can also argue that he has done pretty well overall. But he is not reactive enough at key moments in games and it’s cost us promotion. His inexperience in big games has cost us. It was obvious to all that without a focal point in attack, we invite pressure. It was obvious KWP should have replaced the knackered Bree. It was obvious stu atmstrong was knackered. All these things later on in games, Martin misses, consistently. Litmus test: swap managers around yesterday and we would have won.

I absolutely adored him as a footballer. I also agree with most of his views now. The government are all corrupt wankers that can’t be trusted. Covid response was a total joke. The vaccines were rolled out far too quickly and weren’t worth the risk - especially in young people. Calling his views batshit is plain wrong when there is so much evidence that he is correct. I didn’t touch the vaccine with a barge pole and I don’t regret the decision one bit. Also his stance on most things is simply: do not to believe the government. This is totally a justifiable view given years of lies, corruption and deceit.

No arguing that we were the shittest team in the league. But the point raised is completely valid. If Leicester go up anyway, and get a points deduction next season, their cheating was totally worth it. It’s us and Leeds who have been shafted because we followed the rules. Plus, who knows, if we had cheated like they did, we could have signed or kept a couple of players that would have made a huge difference. In championship clubs are incentivised to break the rules and go all out to get promotion.

No one is blaming Stephens. Everyone is blaming shoehorning players into incorrect positions because of Stephens.

Why don’t you go and support them then, seeing as you feel this way? They’ve won fuck all that matters and the one thing they did win of any value was won using fraud. Hardly anything to be jealous of.
