  1. Yes, and that's not all we've bought.
  2. He was £70m. I saw the accounts. It was pretty much all upfront as well…which we demanded due to the fact they tapped him up. We didn’t pursue the case once they paid it.
  3. Also Dibling has been badly advised by his agent imo. He could have signed a very good new deal with us and gone for huge money after some much needed development but all his agent can see are the £ signs. I hope his parents intervene and at least get him to a club who will play / develop him. I can see him back here on loan if Liverpool or United get him.
  4. Other clubs interested are Spurs, United, Liverpool and one from Germany. Lead to believe that they aren’t the only ones. Doubt he’s going to Everton with the other waiting in the wings. Same with Fernandes…loads and loads want him. I reckon this could be a club record fee….
  5. I've heard from my source not on the ground, that everything's a bit up in the air at the moment. Apparently Still is fuming as there's no service in the wings. The players are also v confused as they're struggling being in the ascendancy. On top of all of this, Ankersen hasn't managed to get rid of any players, so looks like the squad will be packed and we will play a Boring 747 formation, with a good chance of going down.
  6. I saw Anthony Pulis once. Only joking.
  7. Agent will land 10pc of any sale. It’s safe to say he will prefer the £5m now vs just 10pc of a better weekly wage for Tyler.
  8. The club will 100pc look to sell Dibling and then try and keep Fernandes, esp with Robinson coming through. If we get huge money for Dibling it does absolute wonders for the club as it’s pure profit for FFP / our accounts and allows us to facilitate a rebuild with the most money and biggest budget in the league. The sticking point…does Dibling actually want to leave? I’m not sure on that one. He likes routine - doesn’t like change.
  9. Leicester would have sacked RVN by now if they could afford it. Talking about dislikable managers… We’ve had two of the absolute worst in football. AP and GB.

It lowers our value so it makes us a more attractive acquisition. Good for the buyer. Seller may want to try getting promoted first before selling. All depends on how much money Solak will get back and how much he’s currently losing!

I think there are a lot more buyers out there with a lot more money than this guy, who will be interested in saints now we have dropped.
  12. First two transfers out ahead of next season - The Sh1t beer and sponsor!
  13. I’m so glad Smallbone has done that in front of Still. He’s a nice lad and a saints fan and I’ll always wish him well, but enough is enough. If you can’t learn from your mistakes or work on your weaknesses and improve them, then you’ve peaked.
  14. Think Pilchards was just speculating / making a passing comment. It's as good as done (Still)
  15. I'd look at buying up the captains (leaders) / best players in the champ and also getting some players down from the prem so we have some exp when we get back up. Bit like we did in league 1 and the champ under Padrew and Adkins. Ruthless and slightly arrogant, but also the best strategy.
