That bench is so strong, if things needed shaking up there isn't one player who I would have reservations about.

This would be the ideal scenario for me, as long as we are guaranteed promotion before the game.

We aren't about to be promoted, we have a brilliant chance but it isn't definite and Wolves are from being relegated. The real professionals are managers like Martin O'Neill who turn struggling sides into successful ones, instead of inheriting a successful side from a previous manager.

Your comment was 'Wolves is hardly a massive step up from Reading', which is what I was replying to. Wolves is easily a few steps better than Reading. Also I believe that Wolves have a greater chance of staying up in comparison to Reading gaining promotion. The Premier League has some real crap in it like Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton, QPR. A decent manager should be able to keep a team like Wolves up. Just look at the effect a decent manager has had at Sunderland and West Brom (last season). As for Reading they aren't going to gain automatic promotion (Blackpool and Brum will be fighting us and West Ham IMO) and obviously the Play Offs is a complete lottery.

Wolves are a much bigger club than Reading. They have a larger fanbase, greater history and the biggest draw is that they are in the Premier League whilst Reading aren't.

New Goalkeeper, as mentioned someone like Schmeichel would be perfect. Another top central defender would be good to push Fonte and Hooiveld for places. Martin is a good backup. A fast pacy winger, Matt Philips or Redmond would be perfect IMO. We don't want to make wholesale changes and I don't believe Adkins would do that anyway, but 3 or 4 players who improve the team would certainly give us a very good shot at survival.

In the few games he played for us I always thought he was a very committed player and if he hadn't been injured could have become an important player.

He looks about 12 years old.
