Eh?

Having an inferior academy to all your competition is a pretty pointless exercise to be honest, in fact there is absolutely no point in a skate academy. They have bigger fish to fry, they need to convince a load of skates to pay a £1k donation just to pay for next years training ground rent. How is the sale of villain Jed Wallace going?

Does it mean this: ?!

Correction: Sergei Polonsky http://rbth.co.uk/international/2013/11/12/sergei_polonsky_detained_in_cambodia_31667.html

It seems to me that getting involved with the most high profile economic basket case in football was a step too far for old Vladimir. With all the recent history, Chinny et al, most football aware people in the UK knew that the skates were imploding, totally unsustainable in their guise and a completely unviable future. The purchase of pfc put Vladimir on the map, it attracted the attention of the media, and worst of all, it attracted the nutjob scummmaaahhs. If he stuck to moving cash through all those other obscure companies he may have been a little harder to track down! With Gorbuntzov still mostly comatozed and rehabilitating in hospital after the Canary Wharf assasination attempt (part of Vlads court case defence perhaps?), Sergei Mendelev seized by the Cambodian army in a jungle gun fight, his old man criplled from an assasination attempt in Russia, Barankus in the same sh*t as him, Dubov has moved onto retrieving golf balls from lakes, he is a villain amoungst the bested.. Who does he have left? Judge Zani, personally I would consider him a serious flight risk (my money is on Panama). LOL

He'll be out on the pitch with a giant cheque next, classic work skates.

Maybe its just me then!

Running a Premier League football club is like...

Its all there in #factless' article: It is written into their cod-ified constitution, not that any of them will ever publically see the document, they are only allowed to see carefully selected quotes from the document published on the local rags website, followed by #factless' take (PDT spin/propaganda) on matters. They will never be allowed to sell their trust shares at a profit, but the board have the power to dilute those shares at any point. Yes, they will need the trusts say so, but the trust is very much disproportionately represented on the board.. and that trust board member gets voted in annually! The developers can invest and dilute the trust shareholding at any moment, whilst trust members can never individually invest/throw away more than £20k. The developers have all the control and power, as Rally boy points out, the next £183k of emergency fatpipes maintenece will swing the balance for real. Just you wait until they have reached their 'limit' of developers cash investment, as a penny more will make the trust the minority, I hope you can see what I am seeing. #factless article trust maintain majority shareholding whilst presidents make emergency maintenence loans to keep the grand old lady in order the presidents have moved to ensure that the trust keeps hold of their majority stake in pompey by loaning the club essential funds in order to continue playing at fratton park which translates to the developers have been successfull in loading secured debt onto pompey, ensuring they are major creditors in the likely event of insolvency

2:36 to 3:10 is utterly brilliant!

TB?

how utterly whacky and hilarious. Great humour!
-
That would be a mega lol, though it will also be the massive bestest stitch up of football fans ever, when they realise their trust investment was actually a non-returnable, non-sellable donation. Just like the secret footballer says! I reccommended a perfect site for the skates, groundshare too which helps on the costs!

Definately get the 'Lovren feeling' on the go. Me and about twenty lads all sung it loud and proud towards the end of a boozy wedding, it definately works! ________________ I enjoyed the group at Stoke who were singing a Wanyama song, based on 'in the jungle'. It was funny and catchy, though I guess it wont take of as it will be perceived as racist? 'in the jungle, the might jungle, Wanyama comes to play' _______________________ As for Dani Osvaldo, how about a simple old classic (Heartbeat by Buddy Holly?): do do, do do do, do do, do do do, do do, do do do woooaho Dani.. Dani Osvaldo he comes from Italy

Great analysis. What a delightful start to a nutjobs day, thank you!

During the various police sting operations, court appearances etc I recall a prosecutors claiming 'arry signed something like 130 players during stint one as skate boss. Nothing to do with a 5% commission fee of course! From a corrupt point of view, it makes perfect sense: manager signs player, manager in cahoots with CEO (also bizzarely taking a commission fee and win bonus) arranges favourable contract for all concerned. Manager then manipulates player for further financial benefit, abusing your position as manager for complete justification of your actions, all fully backed up by the CEO! Now, if I could choose one player who I just cant quite work out why clubs keep signing him on long contracts, it would be the old pompey legend TBH Isnt Zahivi his agent? Maybe Punch could shed some light on the GDP & Cortese love in? (only joking, pretty sure we're an honest club).

LOL, nail on the head! In fairness 2k+ skates isnt that bad for a january away, even if it is only a short drive up the road. Though remaining in that spirit of fairness, I do recall us taking massive bestest allocations to all sorts in our League One tour, Leyton, MK Dons JPT, P.boro, Swindon, Coventry. We used to congratulate our support on the day amoungst ourselves, though we didnt need an intrepid #factless reporter blowing hot air all over the place, nor did we feel the need to articifially inflate our attendences for the benefit of uninformed radio Solent listeners. Though Im just clearly absolutely green with envy at the skates travelling blue army.

LOL Connelly will need to free up some space in the treatment room! Outstanding PMSL

Nail on the head imo. I doubt this is the work of the pledge conversion team, or even the engagement manager, surely even that lot understand that harrassing people for money in the toughest financial month in the year is just plain aggressive and nasty. No, for me, this is the work of the presidents, they had to stump up cash just to get the ground cleared for the public and they want it back pretty f*cking dam quick! Or perhaps they are facing the prospect at coughing up another large bill just to get fortress fatpipes through another week, and they want the bestest to pay for it. As for the players, the skates think they have forgotten about the bestest atmosphere in world football, how could that possibly happen? LOL
-
Carnage IIRC, stabbings too from memory. Nice bunch!
-
If that happens, it will add credibility to the bubble.. so I hope it all runs smoothly!
-
LOL! Although it would be poor form for the skates to bitterly sabotage his career out of spite and misguided pride. Another story for you nutjobs which I enjoyed: http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/271095.html I love the irony, Hampshire club has waterlogged pitch, game postponned.. 16 miles down the road, another Hampshire club, does not have a waterlogged pitch, game on. http://metro.co.uk/2014/01/04/accrington-stanley-boss-james-beattie-arranges-for-fans-to-attend-southampton-v-burnley-after-wasted-trip-to-portsmouth-4249267/ Great comment too: The presidents may need to bring out the chequebook again, in fact, best not leave home without it from now on.
