Wilcox left us in April last year. SR had time to replace him but instead tried to be clever and that led to the worst season in the clubs history. Talk is cheap, the only way SR make up for last seasons shambles is by delivering a league winning season this coming season imo. Can't say I'm confident.

Bazunu wouldn't have saved the shot McCarthy did from Dan James. It was a fairly routine save but Bazunu has history of being absolutely useless at shots down low to his left from outside the box, mainly because he doesn't move his feet quick enough. If Bazunu starts the season for us then Sport Republic will be on track for yet another failure of a transfer window.

I know it's nice to see academy lads come through but he's hardly set the world alight this season in League One. We can't afford to give handouts next season.

This transfer window will be our biggest since the 2010 one after the Liebherr takeover. We need leadership on the pitch, especially in the spine of the team. I don't want to see the likes of Jack Stephens anywhere near the starting 11 in August.

As well as having Bednarek and Stephens as two of our main CBs despite us fucking both of them off at the beginning of our last PL campaign. The decision makers have been given such a free ride by a very placid fanbase this season, it would be good to hear some toxicity pointed towards Sport Republic for this game but no doubt people will stay and applaud at the FT whistle.
