The french referee bit.

When his decision is made, these posts will all be rendered redundant.

He’ll be useful helping us get good aggregate scores in two leg cup ties.

We didn’t prosper. While others who also cheat did.

The world caught them up on skill some time ago. But they will always have strong squads, and I thought there was just a touch of the old swagger in the second half. But they really are just in the mix with the other top sides these days.

Presumably our sales and recruitment this summer have one eye on 2027/28 when our budget will be very constrained should we fail to go up this season.

In terms of " Embeddedness" we just have to move one CM on hopefully, leaving three established and a new signing to integrate, so that would be fine. Depends if Jander is pushing hard for a move though.

MAGIC !!

I think any new CB would need to be a potential first choice, seen as an upgrade on JS/Wood. But yes, that looks a squad capable of competing for top 2.

That's how football works, right ?

Most players go if Man Utd come calling TBF. He would be a great signing for them . Bit annoying if it funds a WHU promotion drive, but so it goes.

Who have actually done better out of this than anybody, as they got a free pass to Wembley and the gate money . Ingrates.

Nobody really wants to be on a cruise with any m******ough fans on it .

👍 That will make up for the one henry winter has cancelled.

There do seem to be a lot of strange fans of other clubs ( on social media at least ) who think that, even after disciplinary processes, it is somehow their business who our manager is.

They trained at the BTC ground back in the 70s. Used to go down and watch them.

If you had been asked to go on that panel, and had , even once played for Middlesbrough, would you not have declared it? I certainly would.

If a coach had told Eze to do what he did, Eze would probably have told him not to be so daft. Rightly.

So what grounds would the FA need to have to give TE a lengthy ban ? Wouldn’t they risk being in contravention of employment rights at some point ?

There are significant differences in the precedents and the actual effect of the punishment though.

Their support did look surprisingly un- diverse for a London team, compared to , say Arsenal.

I’m old enough to have been at the game in Dec 1979 !! Channon with the only goal.

I have 100% win record there supporting Saints.😀

Wrong thread I suppose, but I wonder if there is a PL or top European first choice slot likely to be available ? i don’t think he’ll want to be on the bench ( though a massive salary always helps) so it could just be that when it all shakes down we may be his best option or at least one to consider. However, the reported option fee is high for a team that may be struggling to raise cash.
