Wow we're getting a lot of these recently.

You actually watched that shower of a game? Right?

That would seem to be that for testing. Here's a few conclusions I look forward to being stripped apart: 1) Renault have severely dropped the ball. A cut in budget over long period's of regulation stability has resulted in Renault not developing as competitive/reliable a package as Mercedes and Ferrari. Red Bull have done themselves no favours by tightly packaging the rear of the car which is exaggerating the overheating/relaibility issues that the over Renault teams have been suffering but even without this there would appear to be a lack of ultimate grunt in the new french hybrid power-train. 2) Williams have had an excellent off-season Fast and reliable, there is talk of Williams being one of the teams to watch. The new Mercedes power units have worked almost seamlessly with the new Williams' chassis. Felipe Massa and Valteria Bottas have adapted well to their new car and should be in the hunt for a god haul of points in Australia. 3) Marussia have a real chance of points. Of the two back-markers, Caterham and Marussia, the Russian owned team appears to have made by far the better fist of things. Times in testing have occasionally put them securely in midfield, only 3 seconds behind the front of the pack with both Max Chilton and Jules Bianchi having the measure of their car. With unreliability almost a given in Australia they should have a real chance of being the first of the newcomers to finally finish inside the top ten and secure a world championship point. Caterham on the other hand seem to have unveiled a bulky and mostly conservative car that has performed as badly as it looks. 4) Mercedes is the Engine to have. McLaren, Force India, Williams and of course Mercedes themselves have been the consistent lap time leaders. The engine is the common denominator. Ferrari have shown flashes of promise and Red Bull, despite their issues will no doubt have a fast if initially unreliable/underpowered car but the German engine seems to be a definite advantage. My prediction for a team running order in Australia. 1) Mercedes 2) McLaren 3) Williams 4) Force India 5) Ferrari 6) Red Bull 7) Sauber 8.) Marussia 9) Lotus 10) Toro Rosso 11) Caterham

Come on Sue, spill.....

A little underwhelmed. Mind you, no phones are really shaking things up now. The screens have all reached the point where individual pixels are essentially indistinguishable, they all run all manner of apps and the cameras are as good as you would ever need for casual use. A shame that Samsung persist with the plastic build materials but considering that the first things that's generally done with a phone is that it's thrown into a case renders the premium materials of it's rivals moot. My S3's contract is ending soon and frankly, there is nothing on the market that looks to be that big an improvement. I may just go with a giff-gaff sim for the short term until something really nice comes out.

Epic bump! Amazing how he has completely disappeared off the radar.

Oh... god.....

Whatever happens thank f**k we don't have to play Sunderland again this season.
-
Any definitive news on the Sunderland team?
-
Will any of you be tracking / keeping an eye on Osvaldo ?
Colinjb replied to Saints boy in Leeds's topic in The Saints
Still technically our player so will be keeping an eye, after Puncheon's rehabilitation a few years ago nothing would surprise me regarding what happens next with him, especially if he plays to type and falls out with the powers-that-be in Turin. -
Never go back. Do not risk tarnishing the memories, It is that simple.

Signed, best wishes from a resident of the city.

In this context you can only look back on reflect on how this was doomed from the beginning. You will never succeed in trying to keep Gaius Baltar in line!!! Geek reference. I am unrepentant.

Sadly not, but thankfully the last part of your statement tells me you are not being serious.

The class of 2014 dominating possession but not having too much space to work in while attacking. The 2003 side staying well organised and work-manly with Brett looking to create space for Beattie on the counter-attack. Fernandes looks the most lively but keeps running into dead ends as Clyne keeps him in his back pocket. The 2014 Saints eventually wear down the 2003 charges, a late consolation for Beattie after he finally gets on the end of a cross is meaningless thanks to the two goals scored midway through the second half by Adam and Rickie. I'm going 2014 2-1 2003

We could still finish 8th (especially as Newcastle have lost their best player) and the cup final is not impossible. It would be fascinating to see who would prevail in a match between the team of 2003 and our current first eleven.

Unless something massively changes I believe that the glass ceiling is very close. We can strengthen further at LB, Str and centre back but pushing up to 6th/7th place could even then still be beyond us. The worst Manchester United team of our generation is still 5 points ahead of arguably the best Saints team of the same time-frame. To break into that company is an astonishing challenge.

It would be reassuring if we won despite playing poorly.
