Not that I have anything personally against Flyer but absolutely, of all fans to be lecturing us on folly, a QPR fan is one of the last who can talk!

Yes, there are families like that in every city. A girl I used to go to School quite openly had the attitude of: "When I leave School I just need to get pregnant and get a house from the social." Strangely enough she saw no point in actually working for a living, and no, this wasn't in Coventry, I spent my School years in Winchester.

Has anyone else had any flares in the crowd during matches?

Yep, mine is falling off and cracking too. Also the material stains really easily, the only washes that would shift them would cause the aap3 logo to fall off!

Of course we don't know the exact figure. But taking the following example: 1 Managing director on £200,000 with 150 subordinates, average wage £20,000. Give the managing director a 50% wage cut and you save £100,000. Give the entire work force 5% wage wise and you incur a £150,000 cost.... You are £50,000... or two people, worse off per year. The equation would have to be very delicately handled.

Also, I don't for a second believe that the economics of cutting the top salaries will be able to balance the rise in basic pay.... I do however understand the message it gives to the nation as a whole... The fuzzy feeling isn't a substitute for economic tallying though.
-
A very bold move, one that can surely only work if other nations/employment chances for these individuals follow suit. There is no point cutting the money if the experienced people will simply clear off.

Agree regarding the need for a new winger. Makes sense to have 4 central midfielders battling to start. Hammond, Cork, Schneiderlin and ............... If Chaplow is not part of the picture we need another, I don't believe Hamster can make the step up and Ward-Prowse isn't ready for the first team. A new centre back, also a good plan. Give Fonte and Jos some real competition.
-
Lets not get too excited, it is the Mirror saying this after all. If Chaplow is on his way back home though, that would imply that as well as a Striker we still need: Another Goalkeeper A new central midfielder

It's a fair point, most of the fondly remembered shirts are associated with success. Interesting that during our years of stunning attacking play under Chris Nichol we wore some truly malignant Hummel kits... despite the players who wore those shirts they are certainly not well loved. And yes, my own personal opinion matters not, yet it seems i'm not alone in finding it a bit too literally sticking to the 'come on you reds.....' chant.
-
As something on it's own..... ok, not a bad football shirt. But it's not a Saints home kit.... it's a Forest home kit, a Liverpool home kit.... A miscelaneous shirt for a team whose primary colour is red. That is not a Saints kit. Our primary colours are Red and White, evenly.... arguably with more bias to white. (The '76 home kit and Sash kit stick out as examples for this.... The Mid 80's Red with White/Black shoulder flashes is not a favourite of mine, again, it just doesn't look right.)
