Yep, 'The Heart of Everything' is superb, they played two songs from it at the gig. 'The Howling' and 'Our Solemn Hour.' I strongly recommend their new album 'The Unforgiving,' a little more commercial then their prior work but extremely well crafted.

You said above Mikey that you might live to regret it, there's no 'might' about it.

If you still need one I'm actually in Malta this weekend and need a taker for my season ticket.

Steve or no Steve (chant-wise)/calling players names
Colinjb replied to kwsaint's topic in The Saints
Agreed. I also think that (although it's not entirely unique) it is quite unusual. Certainly, I cannot remember hearing a similar 'call' since Hillsborough back in early 2000. The home fans used to cry in unison 'BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH!!!!!' when Andy Booth came on, was quite powerful. -
Apparently opened talks over permanant Hooiveld deal

The partnership of Coventry's Scott Dann and Cardiff's Roger Johnson was a revelation in Birmingham's 09/10 campaign. The gap isn't as wide as many think, it's more about the partnership and chemistry of the players in key positions. And Jos played for Copenhagen. They finished second in their group and made it into the last 8. -

The Coventry fans I know didn't react negatively, just confused in a "what the hell are they doing?" kind of way. As such I think we should keep the 'STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVE' chants up, it unsettled them quite nicely! -
Finish the degree. I cannot stress that enough. Even if it's not directly applicable to what you then want to do employers often see it as a display of competence/potential. Collect the certificate (aim for a 2:1 though) and then do volunteering in the sector you want to get into to get your foot in the door, build a contact base. On the negative side, regardless of how sensible your reasons may be for dropping out it can raise some uncomfortable questions in future job interviews.

She is working for the private sector, yes. I have no idea if any recompense has been offered. I will ask her more tomorrow evening... (although having said that I am entertaining a colleague from HQ tomorrow night... I will follow this up with her though, i'm sure she will be grateful for any clarification you can provide, cheers.)

I hope there are people out there who can confirm my thoughts on this. My housemate has about 3 days of holiday left before then end of the calendar year. (The end of the alloted term to take their year's allowance) Due to workload though the company is refusing her (or any other staff member) from taking a holiday unless they have explicit proof of a prior arrangement. (E.g. flight tickets.) Now, refusing to allow holiday and needing proof in this way is as far as I am aware is illegal and quite outrageous. Does anyone know just how they think they can get away with this and what rights does my housemate have?

An emergency loan for Joe Hart isn't out of the question.

Never spend what you cannot afford to lose.

Utterly fantastic. Really, the contrast in how we are developing to grow and how the Skates squandered the money they had is just Hillarious.

Hang on, didn't Brighton go into administration not too long ago? And they are trying to take the moral high ground? Either way, never mind, you get mongs in all fanbases.

The other 'fishy' folk beat you to it:http://i.thisis.co.uk/274980/binaries/newshirts.jpg

True, just took them as the example as they are our current headline sponsor.

I would suggest they bring back Avram, but we all know that they cannot afford to put his 'extra curricular' activities on expenses anymore.

The reaction to St James' Park now being formally called the 'Sports Direct Arena' (or similar) has me thinking. When St Mary's was first built it was going to be just 'The Friends Provident Stadium,' until Rupert relented and allowed for St Mary's to be in the title. If we get promoted in the near future it surely isn't inconceivable that St Mary's naming rights will be up for grabs. Would there be outcry again if it ends up as 'The AAP3 Stadium' or similar? Surely it would just be informally refered to as St Mary's anyway, would it actually matter?

These would be the same countries that have been experiencing excellent economic growth in the last few months. Houses built on sand and all that.

Well if he's up for it that would save a lot of effort.

A talented, talented player who needed just a little bit too much time on the ball to be effective in the premiership. His key attribute seems to have been his fitness which is probably key to his longevity at international level.... that and his decision to spend most of his career at a less demanding level.

Absolutely, the system works.

Now there's an idea! Do excuse me, I need to go and see my medium.

A replica shirt and scarf is 'fancy dress'? Well, in that case, yes. I wear fancy dress to every game I attend.

I'm sure a few people have noticed that the site had fallen behind a little with the match reports, my fault entirely due to a rather hectic work schedule recently. Thanks to a (well earnt?) day off, the reports are now up to date for your reading pleasure. Enjoy. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/content.php?242-Saints-3-0-Middlesborough http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/content.php?243-Saints-2-1-Peterborough http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/content.php?244-Coventry-City-2-4-Saints
